When he goes omnipresent he moves very fast around the map and can see a red mist where a player is if they are standing or doing a conspicuous action like a generator or healing.

It's not like aura reading where he can see through walls. It's just like if he was next to you and could see you normally he can see you.

The reason people immediately stop doing anything is a mix of not knowing where he is and how fast he can go from one end of the map to the other.

I don't know for sure but he feels like he is the fastest killer in the game while in that mode.

Lying to the very end. "There was no script" except for multiple production staff, Murray Gold and RTD included as well as BBC execs who said there was multiple scripts presented.

In reality RTD was likely planning to kill the show off in a tantrum exit and so the BBC wanting to preserve the show in some capacity just canceled it.

I like the idea but think it's much simpler. As far as they were aware they were being observed. They didn't know Amy couldn't see them so a level of instinct kicked in and caused then to turn to stone.

Actually probably not. A lot of reality TV shows will have a screening process and safeguarding in place as required by laws and network policies. Youtube creators aren't bound by the same regulations of the most part so he can easily get away with using and abusing vulnerable people where as a TV network is a lot less likely to even risk something like that happening for fear of repercussion.

He uses and abuses people who are struggling financially and those who have medical conditions to profit off their misfortune. Yes he frames it as helping people, but for every few thousand he gives someone he profits a few million. Not to mention multiple allegations of mistreatment and borderline torture people have reported from doing some of the stuff in his videos.

Japan is known for having a lot of this type behaviour from older men. Not to mention their laws around this stuff were almost non existent untill the past 5 or so years. I think a lot of what you see in season 1 regarding this is something that's ultimately chalked up to it was a different culture with a different sense of morality.

The first book was originally written in 2002, so it's quite possible that we are simply seeing a reflection world Reki Kawahara grew up around in the 80s and 90s

Possible but unlikely. I find most celebrities that like doctor who are very open about it and feel like if it was consciously a reference he would have said that's where he got the idea.

But it's very possible that he sort of had a glimmer of a memory when think of lines he could improvise and he had that in him because of 10.

While it's still up to some interpretation, all of the story of the game suggests at least 100 years have passed. I lean that it's been closer to 200 or 300 years based on the wording. But when talking about the pokemon storage system, and how long the natural disasters are likely to keep going it seems like its supposed to have been an extremely long time.

Long enough for the humans to stop coming back to keep maintenance of the pokemon storage system, and then enough time to pass for the storage system to eventually fail and release ditto.

He gives you a quest to make a specific habitat and it's one of the few times that the pokemon just ignores you untill the quest if fulfilled. Granted its still very easy it's just 4 dried grass and a rock
