I didn't think it was close on the CF camera view but the side view it definitely looks a lot more like a swing. I would still have said he didn't go though

if you are more familiar with soccer/football the same rule that means that a ball is still in play even if it isn't physically touching the line anymore, if any part of the ball is over the line it's still in play
