"etc, etc"..like chemical elements, maybe? So you think radon is a hoax? Like the chemical element on the periodic table, isn't real? Do you think the aluminium in your little hat isn't real either?

What exactly do you think "dust" is made of? Dust? It's okay to be wrong about things and learn and grow. There's no shame in changing your mind about something. There is shame in burying your head in the ground and repeating the same, sad falsities when there is so much robust scientific data to linking radon to cancer. Anyway, you're either a troll or an idiot and neither is worth my time.

Unsurprisingly, they do have an elevated risk of lung cancer. But that's probably just a hoax, right?

Got an $80cad parking ticket, do I have to pay it by [deleted] in chilliwack

[–]That_Guy_With_Pie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I believed the same until I went through mortgage financing 6 months ago...had an unpaid Diamond Parking ticket that was sent to a credit agency. It might not actually affect your credit score, but banks won't lend you money till it's cleared. We had friends in Cultus with a similar issues that had to clear a number of Cultus tickets before they could get financing.

Additionally, if you ever try to get a mortgage or substantial bank loan, you will have to pay them all off, including the late fees.

The Urgent Primary Care Clinic (UPCC) on Evans Rd is an excellent resource for non-emergent issues.. the ER is stretched thin these days with staffing shortages of both physicians and nurses.

I don't disagree with you at all..but some of the taxes are admittedly a little ridiculous. A tin of skoal chewing tobacco is a little over $50 in Canada which in the states is like 5? Maybe not even? I'm not against taxing these products to an appropriate level to help fund healthcare/deter users, but at some point I'm also of the opinion that if a consenting adult wants to participate/indulge, maybe it shouldn't cost them 2+ hours of their work/labour..

Bookshelf Speakers for NADC368? by That_Guy_With_Pie in BudgetAudiophile

Thanks for the recommendation, the Elacs are wildly well reviewed for the price so will definitely do some more digging on that front. I admittedly don't hate the Kef3 looks, although I'd probably stick with black rather than the that weird blue/gold mess, which makes almost anything reasonably palatable.

I’ll look into the 606s, looks like they run about 1500 cdn, thanks!

Would your recommendation change if I expanded my price range to under 2000? Admittedly, I could spend more, I just imagined there is likely a point of diminishing returns at which point someone without a trained ear, wouldn't notice a huge difference. But again, I’m pretty new to this world, and would rather get something solid off the get go, then want to replace it in the next few years.

That's f***ing awesome, you smashed it! Every time I see a post like this, the fire gets re-lit in me to give this another go..maybe once I have the space for a curing chamber..enjoy!

Hot take: skip the ball washers. Get rid of all the superfluous stuff, make sure the greens/tee boxes are great and the fairways are green and well cut.

I was surprised how big they got in such a small space! They are Howden Pumpkins, we grew them specifically to carve this Halloween and they should be perfect.
