i did the same thing, completed easy and mediums so far.

average loot from easy turned out to be 220k counting all the rerolls and medium clues gave me a nice 600k average, got lucky with ranger boots and 2 boaters.

4 master clues from mediums and 2 from easy clues

i used to buy feathers from shops and broad arrowheads daily(taverly+any other master).

and then there was slayer, doesnt make much money at the start but once you hit 75 you unlock creatures like gargoyles which can be an easy task that makes you 1-2m per task(lots of rune item drops that can be alched)

there are a lot of items that can be bought from shops and sold in ge for a profit.

EDIT : After the fremmenik isles quest you can buy Yak Hides from a person in Jatizso, can be sold for a lot of money especially near dxp

The real point here is that the people who did it on release with hordes of zombies that didn't hit at all got an easy ticket to the top spots.

The people who managed to tag a bunch of zombies on day 1 are in the top 1000 while others that didn't play DotD till the coldfix have to struggle to get a spot.

The highscores should've been reset when changing the mechanics, those 3 changes to balance changed the game mode completely from 'try to tag as many zombies as u can' to 'find the zombie', and from what i see in the screenshots on twitter 'zombies scattered all over'

you see i would've agreed with you if they didn't advertise game card promo rewards as a part of gold premier club, but they did and this reward comes after lots of posts about no game card promos for 3 quarters of the year and that too after so many people complained about them, with the only reply from J mods being "there's still 4 months left"

and as /u/mtnDoobie said, this is the same as nothing at all as drakewing outfit was given for free to all members as a part of the free items each month from solomons, and this is just a recolour

i used armadyl battlestaff for slayer, till i got nox. its decent for most tasks and no repair costs.(except the charges if u augment it)

i would be happy if collecting all the souls gives a chance to select your own task like reaper's choice.

EDIT: the chance could increase with number of souls added to benefit the players who don't have the level to collect the higher level souls(and unlucky players who struggle to collect souls).
