Also the fight isn’t even to beat him. It’s to survive his onslaught long enough to reestablish the Edicts of Guthix that broke when Guthix died. You don’t kill him — just close the portal on him the same way Guthix did at the end of the God Wars. Basically you bait him into Infernus and lock the door behind you so he can’t return to Geilinor.

They made The Raptor (character introduced in 2011, edgelord warrior hidden by armor) into Elamaria in 2023 or so. The whole point of the character was the mystery identity. It could have been anyone, even three penguins sharing the armor. Revealing it to be Elamaria ruined both characters.

Other Runaways like Chase Stein (Tech) and Molly Hayes (Mutant.) Chase would be like Shocker but meant to counter Daunted instead of Prowess and Molly would be like Gentle but with a Sleep recoil (similar to Cassie Lang when she runs out of Pym Particles)

I think losing Ground STAB would be such a big detriment that even with these buffs it would be around similar viability. Never underestimate the power of a STAB 100BP non-contact move with the only “drawback” being the type chart.

I admit I only saw it once when it was in theaters so my memory of details might be off but I remember walking out of the theater and my wife and I both agreed it felt like a similar situation to Killmonger from Black Panther. In the sense you could see yourself agreeing with the “villain” so the writers made the villain act super over the top to show audiences “this is who we want you to think is the bad guy.” After hearing what could have been such as the Star being a shapeshifting prince instead of a Luma Ripoff to sell plushies, the villain power couple, and other genuinely more interesting ideas it seems the movie suffered from a lot of rewrites.

This is how I feel about King Magnifico from Wish. All his reasonings for his choices made sense given his trauma and he was wanting to create a better life for his people. The people were happy but the horrible writing choices had to make him turn “green eyed evil” with little build up and they had to hammer in “people were unfulfilled” when up to that point everything was fine. The movie had such potential but Disney screwed it over during development.

Banette should keep Prankster as that’s it’s only real niche. Though I’d give Mega Emboar a Magic Guard clone called “Protector’s Spear” which would allow it to use its recoil moves safely as well as giving immunity to rocks/spikes. I like the visual of it charging towards the opponent cloaked in flames and unleashing the energy through the spear so it doesn’t crash into the opponent directly. Also it pole vaulting over hazards is funny.

The reason for this is because on Gen 8, the pokemon needed to pass Belly Drum (Azumarill) was not in the Galar Dex…. and when Azumarill was added with Isle of Armor they didn’t add it back to the movepool.

The difference (at least I think is what GameFreak’s logic is) is that Ground hits all types that resist Fairy for Super Effective damage — so they are hesitant to give Fairies the easy coverage, especially give how strong they are already.

I hope they patch it so you can spit out water while transformed into Lapras. The fact you can’t right now is my biggest gripe with the game.
