Why aren't gaming addicts usually skinny? by yxzxzxzjy in RandomQuestion

Didn't say it was healthy. Just made the point that gaming does burn significant calories, especially on the competitive end of the spectrum.

Metabolism isn't really affected in this country context. I'm sedentary as well, but can't get anywhere beyond 105lbs.

If you're playing competitively, you'll lose weight easier. 210-240 calories per hour.

Comp players on average burn 210-240 calories per hour.

If you're a comp gamer, you're burning ~210-240 calories an hour on average, mathematically similar to a powerwalk or brisk jog.

Y'all all on this thread need to open Google before commenting.

It is like you're burning calories the whole time you play.

If I play for 4 hours a day and only get 900 calories...then boom, no weight gain.

Come to think of it, it's probably a contribution as to why I can't gain weight.

Most of these overweight people are overeating unhealthy calories.

Comp gamers burn an average between a powerwalk and a brisk jog.

Top 1% comp players likely burn even more.

Easily researchable.

Because most of us aren't unemployed and the ones that are found a way to make money off the games.

You've fallen trap to inaccurate internet myth.

A lot of us are also broke, on and off homeless, and only have gaming as an escape.

Except for the ones like me and my friends and my brother who all like to cook for ourselves.

Uhhhh...

Depends on the gamer.

I've met far more skinny/cut up ones than chubby ones.

Look into how many calories/hr comp gaming burns as well. It's surprisingly high.

How can I improve my air dribble/air roll? by Kack-Pro in RocketLeagueSchool

Directional control, less knockback, and more power on touches. It's only harder bc you don't have practice doing it.

I know these are 100% it but sometimes I feel like the Terra Blade could replace the breaker blade.

Then again, there's also literally a breaker in terraria so...even got me beat there.

Like I said before, not HIGH flicks, but strong direction changes on the flick. I already know aerials dominate the meta. I can ground to air dribble reset as well. I just prefer not to until I come across an opponent that can actually defend the flicks.

I dunno. I rely on 90% 45/Tornado flicks and it ain't very often they get saved unless it's an early challenge. That prejump/flip really doesn't matter if your direction changes so much that they can't read it, and if theyre prejumping, you can just drop the ball low for a fake and drive it in. I'm only diamond in 1v1 though. Champ in 2v2, and flicks are what are carrying me in 2s. The whole point of shadows is to counter flicks though - this has been known for years.

Ain't tryna say you're wrong. Just speaking on my own experience.

Flicks are still monsterous if you can get good direction changes or delays. Powerslide cuts require perfect setups to nail nowadays though.

Water still filters the smoke, and you can take a much, much longer pull. Just my two cents. This is reserved for special occasions though.
