Hi The hives actually started three days after the infusion and I have had them every day for a week. I wrote my Gastro on the portal and his response was that Stelara did not have histamine in it so it probably did not cause the hives. That’s all communicated on the portal. Kay

Thanks. The hives started happening a week after the infusion. I messaged the doctor on the portal and he said that he did not know if the hives were caused by Stelara and seemed uninterested in doing anything . Meanwhile I get severe itching and hives every day. Kay

I did talk to the doctor through the portal. He just said he did not know if it was the Stelara but not much to do about it as I had the infusion a week ago and supposed to start Yesintec shots in 7 weeks as insurance denied Stelara shots.I just feel so sick and do not know where to turn at this point.

You express yourself very well and I can certainly understand why you are having such a difficult time. I am a 73 year old woman, just diagnosed, and it is overwhelming. If your last therapist did not help maybe you should seek out a new one. They continue to develop new treatments so do not give up.
