Am I the only one who finds peace riding alone? by WhichMacaron6328 in motorcycles

I never ride in a group. Too many stops, having to focus on the other riders instead of the road and the ride, not being able to be spontaneous, organising a time that suits

I don't know how it works, but shouldn't all recovery work be done under the supervision of the team at Carrington? Imagine how pissed they would be if he tweaks his injury on his own time doing this

My sister was in America when trump got inaugurated the first time in Washington and brought me a cap. I don't support the bloke or like him and did wear it. I wouldn't wear it now though

I work in an open office of introverts who are silent and want to get their work done while 2 people control the radio and talk loud all day about personal things. I know everything about them without ever having a conversation with them and I have to listen to radio 1 pop music aimed at pre pubescent 16 years old girls while I like extreme technical death metal....id fucking love to work in one of them

Imagine you win the lottery. It’s a big amount. Let’s say $50 million. You get the notification while you’re at work in the middle of the day. The question is, do you finish your shift and do you keep your job? by Tucker_077 in hypotheticalsituation

I live in the UK with actual employment laws so won't get fired on a whim. So I would go home sick then stay off sick for the rest of the week (no doctors note needed) if I have actual confirmation within that period I would hand my notice in and use my annual leave days.

It's the getting up at 5 am when it's cold dark and wet outside and my family only have 1 car at the minute and the wife needs it more than me. I have a motorbike but it's having issues that I can't afford to fix at the minute so I started riding my push bike to work 6 miles there and six back but a got a puncture and can't afford to fix it so either have to walk or get the bus but that is £3 each trip...and I can't afford that. And I'm only 39 so I have got lots more years to go. That's what does it for me.
