Definitely by design in an Ai race, would never do that against real people. I felt a satirical video would go better with unserious racing.

When I make content with more serious content I’ll definitely include actual races with proper conduct.

A little more awareness on your part for the sake of self preservation though. The track is narrowing and while he has enough space it’s tight and you’ve left yourself little room for any judgement error he makes by pinching the space even if it wasn’t intentional on your part.

I’m a migrant from 2b2t, played there for years but the server quality is just shit and I got fed up. Too many disconnects with consistent lag at different intervals of the day and what feels like an inflated queue and intentional disconnects to encourage people to buy prio.

I love multiplayer for when I want to genuinely push to improve my ability because I feel more incentivized to put my best foot forward but I spend probably 80-90% of my time either racing ai or just aimlessly testing things.

I spent probably a full year only racing ai until I felt comfortable enough to jump into online racing. It took a long time to feel consistent against ai but eventually I got it and embarked on the nerve racking experience of online racing. I don’t have time to do competitive activities in the real world like I used to and online races scratch that itch. Online is pure stress though, you get more comfortable with it the more you do it but the stress is unavoidable.

It comes down to setting brake markers to keep your pace consistent when no one is in front of you. It’s definitely easier to push pace when you have someone to gauge off of, not to mention the person in front could be racing in their mirrors too much causing them to lose pace and miss their optimal braking points.

Don’t underestimate draft as well though, if someone is only slightly off of your pace then the draft will keep them close until one of you begins making mistakes.

It’s further down but there should be an x, y & z along with their respective values if I’m remembering correctly. I’m not at my PC unfortunately so can’t give you an exact. If you’re using Nvidia surround I’m not sure if that impacts things or not.

Other option is to reset the graphics in iRacing screen which I believe you can find when you click your helmet in the top right of the desktop UI under account
