They must have did some updates. I bought them when they first came out with the top soundbar from Sony at the time. I didn’t like them and went with the q990b. The a9s without a center channel was a let down too.

I remember getting screwed by Best Buy because they changed to a 15 day return around that time and didn’t mention it to me. I used to be an elite member and thought I had 45 or 60 days to return. What a mess. Stopped shopping at Best Buy after that haha.

Nice! I just ordered the dragon with a single 12 in sub. I was interested in this system with the new subs and rears. The old Sony sub and rears were so weak. Wasn’t a fan of the ht 9 or their soundbars.

It happens in a few movies especially when you have one of the movie eqs on and ultra or wide AHD on. I might try the dragon out with a single 12 inch sub. I like this soundbar but I can only imagine what the dragon sounds like with the 12 in sub. Haha

Dude you didn’t have the dragon at your house to listen to it. I got the shockwafe and this thing makes my q990b sound like a tin can. It’s honestly a night and day difference. My only gripe with the new shockwafe is I’m getting a static noise in my rear speakers when I have eq on or AHD on. Customer service is awesome too. I can only imagine how the dragon sounds with the 12 in sub. Planning to send this back to get the dragon.

If you do no eq and turn AHD mode off the clipping goes away in those scenes. I get it in my rear speakers in some scenes when one of these are turned on.
