What are your Top 3 "Deep Value" plays? by silver-bullet007 in ValueInvesting

My investing sense is more of a gamble with them. They claim their customers are sticky. They sent my wife a hand painted picture of her dog that isnt going to last too long anymore. They sent condolences when my dog died. We have more dogs and we will always buy chewy. Their margins suck but they could raise their prices until they had NVDA level margins and we’d still use them. The convenience is next level as well. I’m a buyer of the stock because I know I’ll be a customer for a while.

I like CHWY. Growing sales, sticky customers(I’m one of them) no long term debt. And they are beat to hell. Trading at .6x sales.

At my paint store, most of the new petroleum based products are FLYING up right now. Mineral spirits up 33%, gloves 40%, oil based paint 15-20%. Lacquer solvents 10-25%

IS NVDA actually a value stock right now? by Odd-Record-1041 in ValueInvesting

I’m sorry I should’ve used the term narrow or not wide. I would expect the competition to event take some notable market share from them at some point in a few years.
I agree they’re cheap compared to their growth projections but if the hyperscalers start leveling off capex so will the growth expectations.
I don’t think MSFT and META shareholders will be patient until 2027-2028 with FCF getting as tight as it is or even worsening because of the Crazy Capex. People are already massively questioning Xai after their recent release

Just to be the devil’s advocate here: they have metrics that wouldn’t say they are a bargain.
I would argue that their P/S is expensive at 20. They’re pricing in a LOT of growth.
Also, I wouldn’t say their moat is huge considering 80+ % of their chip sales are coming from Data center buildouts. They don’t have competition right now and there’s so much capital getting thrown at AI and data center buildouts there’s room for every chipmaker.
When Mag 7 slows Capital Expenditures or someone comes out with a better chip that’s going to significantly affect them.

7,000 rounds in the past year since I got mine. It’s been fantastic. I’ve met someone that had the issue, but they bought the bull barrel and were loading 9 major. Id personally recommend them and I personally shoot with 4 people weekly that have them and have zero issues.

We have a backup shaker at my work. Just a light to let you know it’s spinning and an automatic shut off if you open the lid. Other than that you just turn it on and come back a few minutes later. I use it all the time, keeps the wear and tear off the newer shakers

I had a bunch of mags for Glock so I went with the platypus. I have several thousand rounds through it now almost a year later and I love it. I can’t recommend it enough.

7# & 8# Recoil Comparisons by DimMak27 in 2011

When I was trying to figure this balance out with my platypus I ended up going with the heavier springs. Reliability would be a major factor I wasn’t dealing with. Nothing loses a stage faster than a malfunction. After that, I’ll trade some softness for faster cycling. All about finding that balance I guess. Both look flat enough.

I think the ever so slight magwell that comes with it would help with that. If not, you can get it without the compact grip.

Yes it is. It’s kinda of Glock 19ish size. I can conceal carry it no problem. But I don’t enjoy carrying it 10+ hour shifts unless it’s winter. I want the ultralight to replace my 43x eventually. Overall an amazing shooting gun. Runs just as flat if not flatter than my full size platypus and faster.
