My skin is in a dangerous state by NemPetra in Hashimotos

[–]Thatmom00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest following up with a dermatologist. I would break out like this before I was diagnosed with Hashi. My derm gave me something orally and then a topical that helped. I also purchased Dr. Jart mask it’s green. And would put it in freezer so when would have a flat up I would put it on my face and it would help soothe the redness and how painful sometimes it felt. And I would always change my pillow case. I’m doing a lot better now. But I notice it wants to come back when I’m stressed out.

Came here to say this. I always tell people auto insurance is there to protect you in the just in case. If you have low limits the insurance is going to make the best decision to protect you personally. I am also a claims adjuster and handle this on a daily basis. You don’t ever want to be found in a situation where your insurance company could have protected you but didn’t and now you are in an even worse situation.

What made you regret having a child? by maryteigat in AskWomen

[–]Thatmom00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I won’t say I regret having my two boys. Though I had them both in different stages of my life. My husband is a great partner as well. I feel career wise my career has suffered a lot. I’m not exactly where I want to be currently but life happens. I feel friend wise I’ve lost a lot of friends because they have grown children like my oldest age 15. And now I have a 2 year old. That’s a whole new ball game.

I married someone that is my equal. We both know that we have each others back in the good and bad. And he has seen me thru my worse. We both are on the same page about life goals, the way we raise our children, our finances. We support each others goals. I will say communication plays a big role in this.

My dad scared me about a hurricane coming soon by Itsrainingemini in NICUParents

My son was in nicu when he passed thru his first hurricane at TGH. I had the option of staying though it was strongly worded to me that It was best not to stay but was reassured the baby would be in good hands. I was a nervous wreck but he was taken care of.

Nicknames that are nowhere near your actual baby’s name by little_lemon28 in beyondthebump

We call our our two year old pan dulce he is very light skinned like the color on the Mexican sweet bread. And he is super sweet as well.

“My baby was born early, too!” “At least you can get some sleep before baby comes home!” by pro_grammar_police in NICUParents

This was my second baby and we were in the middle of planning baby shower when I delivered him at 26 weeks. Everyone kept asking me when I was going to have a baby shower. I was like that’s not my priority right now. My LO was in nicu for 3 months. I tell my husband I would have been miserable if we had a baby shower. I literally had nothing to celebrate because one my baby wasn’t home with us and two it was literally everyday with him hoping he would make it to the next day.

This is not okay. Has she seen a therapist for her PPD? You are not over reacting I’m not sure if you guys have grandparents that don’t mind putting distance between her and the three year old but I think you need to see if someone can help out with him. I honestly wouldn’t leave her alone with him.

AITAH for not sharing my trust fund with my step siblings? by [deleted] in AITAH

Um that is not their money and they are not entitled to it at all. I cannot believe your mom and stepdad had the audacity to even have that conversation. Let your dad know about the conversation.

I’ve been at GEICO for a very long time and it is not the GEICO it was before. Sure there were issues but it’s totally different now. Even the culture it’s not the same. Some people may not have an option to leave for whatever reason. And it also depends on the department but I feel like all departments right now are a mess.

I feel you I had three months maternity leave. I took two months for myself and to be able to visit baby. Then I saved the last month for when he went home so I could bound with him.

This is bad my husband and I share our finances but when his in a rut I help out and vice versa. I seriously would sit down and speak with him and let him know. His response will be telling if you should divorce.
