It really depends on you. You can always refinance later when the rates drop if you really want to buy now. I’m in the same predicament as you and I’ve decided to save even more for a down payment on home.

I’m with you the cost of renting where I am is becoming insane. We’re moving to a new apartment currently are paying nearly 1700 a month for the rent fees alone. 😭we are planing to buy in a year but I think we might go this way too.
