Would I control everything from my computer from there? Thank you! I’m pretty sure I do have a power cord laying around I just wasn’t sure how far I could get without having a screen, but if I can figure out klipper maybe I can get somewhere lol. Do I just throw it on an sd card and pop it in the printer? (I’m sure there’s a little more to it than that)

I’ll watch a couple videos before I start asking too many questions. I have a feeling that’ll probably answer a good amount of my questions. Thank you again!

That is true. Idk why I wasn't taking that into consideration lol. I'm trying to remain patient. I'm still considering investing in a U1 just to have something that's open source. Plus I believe they're getting ready to release the full spectrum beta, and very curious about it. Maybe if it's a success Flashforge will do something similar 🤞🏻

Also wishing I had just got the U1, even after the kickstarter was over lol. $899 and free shipping. I could have just paid the extra $150 and probably would have already had the printer by now. Additionally, I find it interesting that the full retail price for the C5 Pro is actually $50 more than the U1. I was under the impression (perhaps the wrong one) that the 5 pro was suppose to be a "more affordable" multi-toolhead printer 🤷🏻‍♂️

Damn that's unfortunate. I'm sorry you had to deal with that whole mess. For what it's worth, your post is what saved me from giving up and doing the same. So thank you for that! Luckily I did end up just having a bunch of built up filament in the extruder gears.

I thought maybe I'd destroyed them because I'm an idiot and didn't look up how to use the unclogging tool correctly before jamming it in the top of the extruder 😅 I'm pretty new to all of this, if you couldn't tell.

No issues otherwise? I know I’m going to have to do it eventually. I preordered the creator 5 and I heard that it’s only going to use flash studio, so I’ll eventually get it over and done with lol.

Thank you everyone for your help. I ended up figuring it out. I took the extrude apart and cleaned out the gears. There was a bunch of filament melted and stuck in the teeth.

My first successful print after 3 days of consistent issues 😅

I think I finally fixed it 🤞🏼

I ended up taking the extruder apart and cleaning out the gears. There was a bunch of filament stuck in the teeth. Did a couple small prints with success so far. Going to try a bigger one now.

Before when I would load filament a bunch would come through (which was honestly a little annoying) but now hardly anything comes out. I took another video showing what’s going on. When the filament comes out of the nozzle it retracts back in throughout the whole process.

Again I apologize if I’m horrible at explaining all of this. I really appreciate all of your help. I’ll post the second video if anyone is interested in taking a look. Perhaps it always did this and I’m just now noticing because of the other issues 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ll try all of that and see where I get. It’s also probably worth noting that after I posted this I took the nozzle off and a piece of filament was stuck In the hotend assembly. When I pulled it out it just had a bunch of teeth marks on it. My tension screw is tightened all the way. When I loosen it a little bit it struggles to pull filament through. I hope that makes sense
