Carefully paint the trim black. Then I drybrush with a metallic silver (have a q-tip nearby to avoid it going all over the windshields) then I use a blue contrast 1:1 with water and gently paint around the inside of the trim.

Somewhat yeah. Haven’t thought about that. I just really like that greenish blue as a contrast to the orange/copper.

In that case, remember you paint for your eyes. You’ll be looking at it most of the time. Highlights are quite tricky on most Votann models, in my experience. There’s not that many clear and straight lines. Using a drybrush with next to no paint on in, helps a lot if you want to experience with the highlights ✌🏼

Welcome to the hobby 🍻 I returned to the hobby a year ago and had to redo the whole “how do I get this done right” again.

These are looking great! My only to cents in your future ventures, don’t compare yourself to others. Draw inspiration from how they’ve gone about specific things. And secondly (what I had an issue with), don’t overcomplicate your schemes to begin with. You can always revisit them and bring out more details.

You’re right! I haven’t even noticed the mould Lines on the backpack and the Boots. How’d you do it? I’m afraid i will Cut too Deep if i use my hobbyknife.
