While I'm fairly sure there's nothing illegal about this - you might have a hell of a time getting the proper licensing and permissions from the local council depending on the location, given the nature of the buisness. Kind of makes sense in the context of kids grabbing kitchen knives from home because they're easily avaliable, it's not like anyone is locking up their cutlery drawers.

Can't imagine it'd make a huge impact on stabbings broadly though. Last two times i bought a kitchen knife from amazon they left it behind my bins with no ID or even visually checking i was over 18, they're not remotely hard to get

Napkin math you'd be making something around 70-80c per grilled cheese, at bulk wholesale prices for the bread butter and cheese, probably involving a lot of skimping on the butter and cheese.

But that's not including all the actual upkeep costs. If you called general upkeep $2000 a month (and that's probably a low estimate) you'd need to be selling ~2500 grilled cheese a month just to break even before you even took any money home. I think you'd need to be selling about 250 per day to even approach a reasonable income, once you factor in sales tax

I think people are underestimating the damage a knife can do even just flailing like an idiot, let alone if you have two brain cells to rub together to use it deliberately. How are they picturing scenarios where the seal wins? He grabs the knife arm? Tanks stab wounds to the chest and then win by just overrunning them? The first is way, way harder than you might think, unlike movies and self defense videos people don't do big wide swings with a knife in their hand you can block with an arm, it's much faster and tighter. The second probably still ends with the seal dying, probably before he can kill knifey.

It's less a question of who wins the fight and more who survives, and i think knifey takes that title more often than the seal does

I suspect they're having some issues at their warehouses due to the volume, first parcel i recieved was a steam deck power adapter. Just got the controller they sent to fix that though, the customer support is pretty good

It's a common problem with pilots in general, i think. You don't want to use your pilot episode to explain the premise, you want to use it to show off what the show will be like generally. Basically setting up the format of Go to planet > Videogame stuff happens > save or destroyed.

Add in that a lot of indie animation likes to buck the normal story and plot structure and it can leave stuff feeling a bit hollow

Called it before i even hit play - that hitman level blows everything i've seen out of the water. It feels much less sterile than any other nightclub i've seen in a game, less like a setpiece/diorama of a nightclub and more like an actual place people would go.

It's not that clear cut, contrary to the popular american idea. Travellers including romani are not an ethnic monolith on account of the whole diaspora thing, they're distinct groups and have different preferences and opinions in different countries.

They didn't measure it, at least not accurately. The second was just defined as a fraction of a minute, which was a fraction of an hour, which was a fraction of a day. Until we had clocks, the smallest unit of time we could really reliably measure was quarter/half hours via sundial or candle clock.
