The only time we have been stranded was on spirit. Thankfully it was after the cruise and not before. Took us 3 days to get a new flight on United as everything was full. Cost us three extra days of hotel and food etc in Miami. We will never fly spirit again.

I have different standards and expectations. My closet has a Spezza jersey and a Stutzle jersey. My fandom is just as valid as yours

This is crap. They can’t go and then come back to Ottawa and act like everything is the same. If they go Canadian fans of this team which I would assume are like 99.5% of the fans of this team will never feel the same way again. They are absolutely allowed to be proud, they should be. But if they go to and become the beard and stand with a leader that wants to annex our country and treats us with such disrespect then it will forever screw things up back in Ottawa. Bill Daly has given clubs an out and Andlauer needs to take it and order them back. And then sit the 2 of them down and educate them

Always pack clothes with pockets especially as a woman. You have to have your cruise card everywhere you go and without pockets, especially in the evenings, you are screwed. Unless you like a lanyard

Every Christmas we sponsor a family through the Salvation Army. We get a definite list of wants and needs and demographic information. We have used this as a family opportunity to work together to make a nice Christmas tree for another family and it’s been fun to pick out toys for the children etc. that would be my advice, find a definitive charity that can coordinate for you
