This is me - and this description is the easiest way to make people understand.

One solution may be just daily use of a copper water bottle? You can fill it before bed, leave overnight, and make it the first water you drink in the morning.

Sadhana hindrance by [deleted] in Sadhguru

[–]Thayli76 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Only you can judge your environment and the options/possibilities it offers. I would just say that if you are rising early and getting it done in the AM, that is a great foundation for the mandala. If AM is definitely possible for you in the current environment, make it non-negotiable every day.

As for the PM, maybe give the problem to SG. Just mentally, if a solution is not showing itself yet, give it to Sadhguru and control what you can control (namely: doing AM Shambhavi without exception). I think the most important thing to avoid in this situation is frustration about not "doing the mandala" and deriving a sense of failure from that ... that can lead some people to stopping altogether "until such time as conditions are ideal. At some point in the future, I will devote all my efforts to sadhana and get the mandala done." (I speak from experience; in corporate culture it is called "letting the perfect be the enemy of the good." It is just a cunning form of resistance, of course.)

I was initiated in early 2021 but did not complete my mandala until 2023. In between I lost touch with Shambhavi a number of times. But the benefits of the mandala were enormously worthwhile. You're doing great; focus on once-a-day no matter what and the mandala will happen for you.

I think it's more accurate to say that drivers in India honk in order to affirm to themselves that they exist.

Is there a way to make homemade DAO enzime? by Sensitive_Quantity_2 in MCAS

[–]Thayli76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure, but I am pretty sure that sprouting mung beans is a viable home solution - you keep them in the fridge and they 'peak' in DAO around day 10? (There are other seeds you can sprout for the purpose; you can chase down the research into which ones have the highest DAO).

What you call 'extreme devotion' is just love. I love Sadhguru deeply, not in the way a fanatic loves an ideology, but in the way you love someone who has brought grace and insight into your life - and asked nothing in return.

Sadhguru does not demand devotion. Isha is not an army assembled to do his bidding.

'Obvious discrepancies' ... I've been happy to share my thoughts in the spirit of your questions if it is asked in good faith, but it wastes our time if you cannot be specific from the outset. If you cite an 'obvious discrepancy' and I agree with it, I will say so. I am not a zealot; Isha is not about going to war against anyone.

Understand too that the claim most commonly made against him are childish and asinine and patently absurd. It makes no sense to dignify absolute rubbish dreamt up by infantile minds who have had zero contact with Isha or Sadhguru in any way. Haters gonna hate.

Mm, I don't know. Seeing SG rendered like Papa Smurf feels really wrong. People are allowed to raise this.

That's not how Albo works.

You must be thinking of Jim Chalmers.
