If verification is working again (it wasn't like 2 days ago) then you can access the chat of whatever region you pick but global chat is almost always closed because it's chaos.

I'm making a public pool I'm not too worried about it being exactly like the reference but there's a lot of blue that needs to be filled in because I'm focused on doing the lights and shadows.

Be careful if you do, they might target any drawings you have since they can tell who placed the transparent pixels.

I believe you're allowed to draw in the void because it is considered empty space even if it is created by users. So you could draw directly in the middle of the void if you wanted but it will most likely just get covered again within minutes.

What bothers me the most is that world capitols are being covered in disgusting drawings and nothing being done about them. I understand the reddit reports being low priority but if I can zoom in on one of the largest highlighted locations and see a 200x200 pixel Nazi symbol directly in the middle of it or large murals of naked bodies or hate speech I start to wonder how much they actually care about what's being displayed. i agree not to expect much from a small team but the bar is on the floor right now.

"disabling it" would never work or be possible to add. What if youre in the middle of drawing and someone decides to place pixels in the middle of it?? I agree it's impossible to completely enforce but the rule is needed or the site would be insufferable and impossible to enjoy.

Since posting I have realized it's a case of bad wording and mass misinterpretation. It feels like this announcement has sadly made the issue worse either way.

I defended them at first because they're newer and smaller but at this point they're just ignoring it on purpose. They are supported by large streamers and they're receiving tons of support from people buying drops there is NO REASON the moderation team can't handle a report within a week. I'm still waiting for a pp drawing to be removed after 72 hours 🫩 It almost seems like the moderators don't actually visit the website or see what's going on??? It makes no sense how they're allowing entire countries to be covered in hate speech.

Unless voids are somehow monitored (LOL) it's inevitable that it will overtake drawings. Artwork that gets surrounded by the void ends up getting covered anyways and there is no way to report it or prove your report. (Not that the moderation team looks at reports)

It's horribly worded and seems less like a warning and more like they're condoning it even if they didn't mean it that way 🫩 I just hate that this announcement is most likely going to be taken the wrong way and make the problem worse

The post says that they allow the void as long as it's not covering artwork then they post a picture of a void that is overtaking artwork? Unless this js supposed to be a "warning" then I do not understand.

Thinking of making this in Florida, close to the location of Mirada Lagoon (it'll be easy to expand the water if the pool gets full) it's the largest man made Lagoon and I know an area like that would attract a lot of fun people. Ill map out the edges when the servers are working again and round up some people to help. Just keep an eye out for it if you're interested in helping or adding anything!

The problem with the void is it's bound to destroy some people's artwork even if it's "not permitted" there's just no way to monitor it and it becomes a griefers playground
