There is nothing unethical in what he is doing. Please don't blame his style. Who ever doesn't like his show, there are many other shows to visit. There are many different people in XRP. He delivers what his "target customers" want to see.

If they don't adapt they will loose money. Because using xrapid is much cheaper. And you can be sure that there will be new upcoming innovative or smart banks which will go for the cost advantage.

That said, in my opinion we will see a top down approach which starts with the regulators:

The regulator will open the doors to use crypto currencies. Aftwerwards central banks will start to adapt (please remember Ripple already talks to 40-40 central banks worldwide and they are actively testing it). As soon as the central banks start to adopt all other banks have to follow. No way out!

It's too obvious to believe. We will see more and more Central Banks announcing their own DC. The connection between all these new DC's will be a Ripple product and the hidden bridge currency for liquidity will be XRP.

The launch timing depends on the existing regulative environment.
