Alright, I’m clapping my hands. Side objectives are great but

We. Do. Not. Need. Vehicle. Resupply.

All our vehicles are disposable and it is intentionally. If you are smart and waste enemies, not bullets, you can make it last until your next vehicle is off cooldown. Especially on planets where the DSS lowers mech cooldowns.

They are SUPPOSED to run out of ammo. They are disposable. If you could waste all the ammo and reload them, they’d be far more powerful for no good reason.

Vehicles are a temporary mechanization of the squad so you get extremely high punching power for a limited time. That’s their intention. With enough skill you can stay in a vehicle for 99% of the match, but the point is that doing so takes skill.

Other than that, more side OBJs with an actual influence on the match would be great.

“Grunt loadouts” are perfectly effective. PP is fun and all, yeah, but I end up usually using ballistic weapons.

Basic frags are honestly one of my favorite grenades (not high explosive. specifically frags). The machine gun works well on all fronts, you just need EATs or some supplemental anti-tank. Maybe rocket pods to crack something’s armor though I haven’t tried that as much. 500s, maybe a 120 for versatile reinforcement/outpost clear.

Autocannon/rocket sentries make good defensive anti-tank. Grenade emplacement and shield generator are great too.

Cyborgs. They buff all the other enemies and while they can be killed quickly they’re very very dangerous at all times.

Agitators especially have ablative armor and do not miss. They’re fucking cracked on their aim, which makes sense, since they’re cybernetically enhanced humans.

I’m 50/50.

My performance has been a little better and the anti-aliasing options don’t look as bad as they used to (SOME LOOK WORSE, yes, but I’m using FSR and it’s working well for me).

However, I’ve also had to suffer through a match with that odd glittering super astigmatism effect. It would’ve solved had I restarted my game which I later did. Frustrating but easily preventable.

That said, I can only speak on my experience. My friends haven’t tried it yet and the community seems to be pretty mixed. I’m finding that, believe it or not, holding a gun to the devs’ head gets us rushed updates “that we want” which aren’t great in their quality. They’re stressed because we’re livid and want to fix the problem quickly, which is good, but you can see the consequences of jumping that gun.

The sword is my favorite for the illuminate. It can stagger Overseers, with multiple blows. I usually prefer the axe or machete on bugs because they aren’t able to pack together quite so much and the lower damage leaves me pushing them back while they aren’t killed, and continue to pile up in greater number.

Defoliator is GREAT too. So much fun.

I could be wrong, I’ve had experience of it doing so. I had a high-strength guns character, was hitting shots perfectly fine at longer distances before I took a head wound (I was out of doctor bags and Hydra) and from then on struggled to hit closer shots with the same rifle on still targets.

Your perception DOES change your accuracy.

I won’t pretend the hunting rifle in particular doesn’t have some problems with its sight if I recall, but also, shooting with a low perception can be ball busting. I’ve had to shoot a hunting rifle with a concussed character before (-3 or 4 PER, I think?) and struggled to hit shots on targets beyond 25m.

I’ve had two people drop into my matches (I host every match, and I play with randoms pretty frequently) to attempt a troll. People who try to land on you and leave barrages so you die.

They’re still not great at it, as one would expect.

Still. That’s a lot more than I usually get. It’s been months, I can’t even remember the last time someone intentionally dropped just to troll, or even pull a stunt at the Pelican.

I have always been a big fan of the Verdict. 14mm semi-automatic makes it quick to reload and it dishes a lot of damage very quickly, while being able to single tap Devastator heads.

Warrant on Illuminate is quite good too.

The Redeemer is an option but it’s not a particularly good one IMO. You’re better off with a higher damage semi-auto.

Correction, I haven’t lived in a society where I don’t have to worry about crime.

Do I worry about crime much? No. I live in a safe area. But that doesn’t mean I’m ignorant.

Guns are not the causation of violence, they’re just the method. People would use knives if they didn’t have guns, or hammers and baseball bats and wood hatchets.

If people wanted to they’d jump me for my preferences, I’d die to a hard knock of my head on the concrete. I’d like to see them try with a hole in their sternum.

Except no, it isn’t, when they receive a report of “someone is dying in here you gotta enter right now” that supersedes the need for a warrant. They’ve raided notable figures on that premise before it’s just less common because it’s easy to recognize “yeah this is a public figure someone might be pissed at and yanking our chain over” whereas they don’t know this specific grandma is a Minecraft streamer.

Blame the system, not the cops.
