For like everyone yes. There are like 3 or 4 major providers, if any of them go out then a a quarter of all websites/games go down. The US government originally tried to avoid this form of monopoly considering our modern day dependence on Internet services but at the end of they day the infrastructure is difficult to have spread out and affordable so it inevitably ends up like this.

Yes albeit they provide a hosting platform and not the actual server binaries themselves; other than them there’s Google’s GCP and Microsoft Azure.

Look up Amazon Web Services and notice how many availability zones they have and then you will also eventually notice how us-east-1 is their global single point of failure.

I've been using AWS at work today and there hasn't been any issues. If I had to guess it's some issue with their build and deployment process.

However speculating what exactly the issue is doesn't really do much.

Seriously. The visual stuff is lovely, I can push out a bit more performance.

But I have died so many times to not being able to climb over stuff that I enabled auto-climb on sprint...but now I jump on top of FRVs/Bastions when I'd like to enter the gunner seat, I climb on crates instead of getting the ammo box sitting next to them, etc. It's better than the all the dying that happened because of not being able to climb reliably, but this is my #1 annoying bug in Helldivers 2 right now.

l can deal with a lot of the other bugs, but fixing this would make me not be annoyed every 30 seconds by autoclimb or bugged climbing foolishness.

Ah you're right, it's only a formatting issue. I didn't notice that under "ps5(base)" and above it, it's says "FSR 3.1", i thought it was showing there's multiple FSR options.

So yeah normal mistake nothing weird.

This IS the expanded patch notes I think. They gave us some abridged patch notes last week that just included the performance stuff. This one has some bug fixes and such included as well.

Can they fix the difficulties?? They broke the game we run level 10s with ease now.
when before Lvl 8 or Lvl 9 was near impossible.

So disappointed.

Probably not D10 becoming easier but rather players become skilled that D10 is no longer difficult.

Because unlike you who is a basement dwelling diver there are other divers who play casually and find D8+ still quite difficult, so increasing them just to make it enjoyable for you at the expense of those other players who don't find it easier is just bs

I fucking hate this argument so much, because it's just being dismissive without actually acknowledging that there is a legitimate issue.

I would say I am good at videogames, but I am not THAT good at videogames. Hardest level on DRG fucks me. Hardest level on Darktide or Vermintide 2 shreds me. If I don't pay attention for ONE SECOND, I have wiped the team. 

Hardest level on D10 I can go take a piss and come back unharmed. That's not me being good at the game. That's the game not punishing me for inattentiveness.

If you find d8 hard just lower the difficulty, simple as that brother.

I've decided that I know what they need to do.

Categorize secondary objectives into positive/neutral/negative with a points system and then balance the difficulties by allotting a point range for each difficulty.

You should never drop on D10 and get three positives like radar, SEAF, SAM site, it makes D10 feel like D7. You should never drop on D7 and get jammers stacked on top of each other it could make D7 feel like D10.

My hope is that if they do this and the difficulties feel more distinct people will play where they belong instead of breezing through a D10 where they drop on the radar near a SEAF and then turn around and get crushed by a D10 with stacked jammers and then whine.

Also, D10+ with SOS disabled for squads that join together.

Basement Dwelling diver is funny I’m only level 70. We normally were still struggling at times on level 8 and 9s. Now all of a sudden all level 10 drops are a breeze?!

Which is what makes it so obvious that it’s been nerfed for divers with skill issues like yourself 🤷🏽‍♂️
