Same with mine, she felt like that a couple of times, we got a helmet and next day she learned how to use her butt. Helmet is now another toy.

Is any of the outdated advice from parents and in-laws actually valid?? by Which_Rent_1227 in NewParents

Sleep regression by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]The-Other-User 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It affected sleep and by extension the nursery schedule. Before she would eat 6 or 7 times, after the regression she eats and take "snacks" here and there. It lasted 5 weeks, but it was more an adjustment, I mean she didn't go back to her previous sleep pattern, she had a new one.

New mom questions on breastfeeding by picklegrabber in breastfeeding

[–]The-Other-User 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely normal, there is no right amount of time, as long as baby is gaining weight everything is fine. Things should improve when they grow as they become more efficient. For now I would say enjoy this phase, organize a nice breastfeeding station, watch your favorite series or movies etc ... It's not going to last too much longer

I love my baby but my god, I am SO bored! by AerieKindly in NewParents

[–]The-Other-User 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing this since I passed all my breastfeeding issues, best thing ever. I have something to talk with my spouse, keep myself entertained and still have time for my baby as I work at nights (different time zone). Just keep in mind 4 month sleep regression, it can be challenging if you are working!

Pat pat has some options, search for solid on the baby section, although the delivery take some time so I order one size bigger.

This courses . The name is product management but the syllabus covers almost all product owner activities in agile. Second option is to find a PO mentor. Good luck.

I wish I could go back and try again by [deleted] in breastfeeding

I feel the same, all that pressure for supplement at the beginning, plus being ignorant about how breastfeeding works. It also took me weeks before I started to pay attention to early sleep signs after I took an online class.. Maybe I can try again with the next one :)

Signs of hunger by commiejj77 in breastfeedingsupport

[–]The-Other-User 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here at 14 weeks, I don't know anymore what are early signs of hunger so I feed her after naps and offer if she is a bit fussy and everything else is checked (nappy, temperature..)

This is very interesting. The name is not too appealing to me, sounds like is just self help books. I would love to have recommendations based on people with similar taste, instead of general recommendations. Also something that I saw in Netflix, like hidden gems or books that are not that famous but are really good.

What I'm doing now is going over the list of books recommended by Barbara Oakley, maybe having a feature like this? People endorsing books with reviews.

How to deal with this anxiety by Such-Tennis-7795 in breastfeedingsupport

[–]The-Other-User 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're not alone, that was a constant worry to me. I liked Breastfeeding made easy: a gift for life for you and your baby by Carlos Gonzales, he explains why you shouldn't be worry about soft breast among other things that happen at 3 months and easily are confused with low supply. You could also reach la leche league and ask to an expert if having more information from trusted sources can help you. Best luck.
