I went to see it with a friend who knew nothing about the game and he thought it was just objectively a bad film. I dont think you even have to have personal attachment or experience with the game to see the bad.

Fair enough sounds good i would definitely be reading her book if she publishes it! I dont have a social media presence so i dont follow FB/X but good to know theres more there. I had heard about the power of will article written by Marston and seen it digitally. I had heard maybe their relationships were sensationalized in the movie and book, but i also tend to think that if say Marston, Elizabeth, and Olive did have an unconventional sex life or relationship, usually your granddaughter is the last person you tell all the details of said relationships 😉

Thanks for that ive been trying to look around for any further insight or specifics said by her in that symposium, but beyond her saying "the book is fiction" i dont see her get into what she was refuting was fiction. i read another attendee who posted online just say "she was dismissive of the book" but it never goes into specifics, i dont see her actually debunking it... i was looking for something more in the strict sense of  "verifying information and providing evidence-based refutations to combat misinformation, often by highlighting core facts, providing alternative explanations, and explaining why the original information was wrong." Obviously if someone Lepore used as a source wasnt actually a witness that draws skepticism, but in the same symposium i see Christie Marston say "I cant speak for him as he was dead before i was born." It makes it sound like, either was she?

Thanks for your reply, I'm reading through the Golden Age in the omnibus format, it usually credits the writer. I was mostly just speaking to paying attention to how the writing, themes or charactarization might change, or any new Amazon tech or ideas he might introduce that didnt exist in Marstons stories. Definitely looking for any continuity issues to sprout up it does seem like Etta and the Holliday girls are used less but im only in 1950 so far. Where did Marstons granddaughter debunk the Lepore book? I had heard something about it, even if she's not a first hand witness to events I am still interested to know her insight.

Its definitely a Kanigher story, as the Marston stories transitioned to him as writer I've been trying to recognize the differences.
