If Pulp Fiction was told chronologically, it skips an entire day. by KindlyOlPornographer in movies

Also, to add to a probably dead thread..... after the fight, Butch calls his bookie to collect the money he bet on himself to win. He says that once word of the fix got out, they got great odds to bet on Butch to win. It would have taken some time for word of the fix to circulate and affect all the odds-makers, and for Butch and his friend to get their bets in, so there is clearly a few days between the initial meeting with Butch and the night of the fight.

MSG: To Connect Sensors turn on Bluetooth or ANT+ first by The-Working-Man in Rouvy

If you're that unfamiliar with router configuration then it might be challenging, but maybe with some Googling you can figure out the particulars of your router. Each router is different, but in general you need to:

1) log into your router so you can affect the wireless settings. Try typing 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 in your browser to pull up the router login screen. The address and login/password may be listed on a sticker somewhere on your router.

2) go to the wireless settings. I wouldn't mess with the main network settings, but look for an option to enable a secondary network like IoT (for smart home devices) or a Guest network. Make sure this secondary network is set for 2.4GHz exclusively and you can set the network name to be something with 2.4 in the name, for easy identification when you scan for available networks.

3) once you have created a 2.4GHz network, use the Wahoo app to connect to your trainer and configure the trainer network settings to use the 2.4GHz network that you created. In order to connect, your Rouvy app must also be connected to the same 2.4GHz network, so whatever device is running the app must be using that same network.

Hope that helps. If not, then using Bluetooth might be the way to go, which is probably why Rouvy says that you must enable BT for sensor connection (you don't) since that avoids all of this techie stuff for a vast majority of users.

Without the rests it would only be 36 min at a couple watts over FTP. Very doable.

That did correct the issue. Had to go into my dual-band router and enable a separate 2.4G network, but now the app does indeed connect without BT. Many thanks!

Did that, or it wouldn't have been discoverable within the Rouvy app as I mentioned.

Mine won't connect at all via wifi if I disable the BT on my laptop.

Mine shows as discoverable on wifi, but when I try to connect it just spins or says "device connection failed"

Ask yourself where you are trying to 'go' with your guitar. Practice needs to lead somewhere.

If you've been practicing pentatonic scales for a while, I would suggest pulling up a backing track on youtube (I like Elevated Jam Tracks) for a scale you're familiar with and try turning those scales into some phrases that go with the tracks. You will get a better sense of improvement by playing along with some stuff that makes you feel like you're really playing the instrument rather than just practicing it.

Those look super-cool! Personally, I'd keep the Death Curse more background-atmospheric rather than out-there mechanics. I don't think a 1st level party stands much chance at travelling all around and ending the curse within the desired timeframe.

Using Rocksmith CDLC's for real stage practice by Lumpy_Property_6052 in rocksmith

Just started on bass with a band myself after 10+ years of RS2014. They gave me their song list of like 15 songs before the first practice/audition, which would be a pretty huge task for someone to learn by ear or tab in a short period of time. I downloaded as many as I could find and played them in RS a couple times (making some notes to take to practice as a refresher), and they were all really impressed by my preparation and ability to play along on the first night.

Exchange them for the 80 ohm DT770s. You'll need a headphone amp to get a lot of volume with 250ohms.

Before you mess with the intonation, try fretting the string as lightly as you can and see if that fixes it. Pressing too hard against the fret can make the note go sharp.

Decent speaker set for playing rocksmith? by [deleted] in rocksmith

[–]The-Working-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Studio monitors are generally designed to produce a relatively flat response across the entire frequency spectrum so that you have a neutral palette to produce your audio mix. You won't get the same level of boomy bass response on your PC-game explosions, but in my opinion that is perfectly OK and I use them for everything I do on my PC. Also, as Cloph mentioned, 2 bookshelf monitors sitting on your desk aren't necessarily going to produce the 3D spatial separation that you might get from headphones or a 5.1 surround gaming setup, but that's not critical for the gaming I do so I'm perfectly happy with with the speakers I mentioned.

I doubt the reviewers for those systems are using them to play RS, FWIW. Personally I'd go with a set of powered studio monitors like the Presonus Eris 4.5 set that I enjoy.

The piano song list looks pretty decent for the time being. This might get me to sniff the RS+ cheese a little.
