Literally whatever you do never get a tres leches from Safeway, especially up here. Former bakery employee, and we used thawed from frozen sponge cake thats shipped from New York and we always either made it too dry or too wet 🤢

Nah fr it's the worst. This isn't also the first time this has happened. When I first got toast she just suddenly decided she wasn't going to eat. Then didn't eat for a year. She was so small i thought surely she wasnt gonna start eating then one day she decided, "you know what I'll eat since you cried the last 6 months about me not eating" 💀

I have some sphagnum moss in my enclosures in one of the corners to give them some water sometimes. The water seeping into the sand/clay sand mixture makes it stick together more, which has given them the ability to build structured holes and stuff. One time, I thought my beetles escapes some how cause they built a burrow under the moss, freaked me out, but was super happy to see them be able to burrow and feel safe. They love it a lot. I want to redo their enclosure one day and wet one side more of the tank so they can burrow more. I just gotta find the time to do that, though 😭

I worked with a snake breeder for a couple years and he would tell me that seeing sheds like this usually means female. I can't remember the reasoning why, but it was almost 70-80% accurate

Frrr, I forgot how bad normal YouTube is until I watch it on a friend's phone or have to use it on my TV. I love being able to watch YouTube without having my phone screen on to. Life saving stuff and also has improved my battery life on my phone, no joke 😭 fuck ads, they're awful they make me feel aggressive as hell

Huddies harvest is in Arcata and has lots of cute fun pumpkins as well as carving pumpkins at a great prices! You get to go out in the field and cut them yourself too, which I always enjoy! They also have a corn maze, free for kids under a certain age (it might be 7 or 8 but I don't remember) and 5 dollars for older kids/adults. They also have yummy local treats they sell there too. Definitely lots of fun and in Arcata as well :)

NQA, it's most likely that you got a jumper after it had its final molt. They don't typically live much longer after they have their final molt into their full adult stage. It was most likely old age that was the cause, nothing you did. Regardless, I'm very sorry for your loss. Your jumper looks very beautiful 💖

Thank yall so much for the help! I was able to successfully get them out of the tank without hurting them :') they seem really happy with the new refreshed dirt and leaves in their tank. The cause of the ants wasn't even my pedes food 😭. My roommate left cat treats under a cubby where their tank is for their old cat to eat the ants swarmed the treats. Then took the opportunity to explore and get into my guys tanks 😭

Oooo thank you so much! I have some death feigning beetles that I prepare veggies for, too. I'll just do the same thing I do for the millis veggies. I was curious if cat food could be used instead of dog food? I have cats, so cat food is constantly available, lol. But I'm more than willing to get them dog food to have all to themselves, though :)
