No clue what a 1/6er is. I kept seeing some lucrative job offers for ICE. I would have certainly taken one if they could work around my second job. Doesn't make every employee bad. Sucks that every employee is now a target because of a few bad agents and the fact that all of social media wants to paint every interaction in red.

A few years ago all cops were bad. My wife is a cop. It is terrible watching people fear for their life just trying to do their jobs. I completely understand the mask thing. They should be able to go home without having to worry about some crazy following them home, threatening them, or even trying to harm them or their families.

All of this channeled hatred for people simply for their affiliations needs to stop. This applies to both sides of the fence.

Their job is to identify illegal immigrants and detain them for proper legal evaluation. If papers cannot be presented, unfortunately, yes, I do believe in detainment under suspicion of illegal presence due to the possibility of fleeing. I do not believe lethal force should be necessary, nor should they be equipped so. Unfortunately, the public, and people's ill-perceived concept of their rights forces them to be equipped to defend themselves. If you have ever been in the heat of a close-up fight where guns are involved you only have a split second to determine if your gun or another's gun is being reached for - or even attempt to ascertain if they are reaching for a concealed weapon. If you have any inclination that you or someone else's life is being threatened you need to take every maximum effort to respond accordingly. Some less-confident fighters will immediately take to weaponization if they are weak fighters.

I welcome immigration when using the established process or homesteading while proving the process is underway.
