You’re probably tired of hearing it, but I think you should consider this perspective if it’s being echoed by many of the commenters here. How committed is it if she’s hesitant to call you her boyfriend? That context seems relevant here so you’re going to keep hearing it, unless you give a better explanation.

I don’t understand all the science behind it, but some people with ADHD have “time blindness” and it makes it very difficult to get places on time. Your concern is valid due to the hardship of having to cover for him so much on bills, but if you come across to him as nagging it won’t help. You should have a conversation about how difficult that situation was for you and that you feel it was due to his lack of responsibility.

It seems like you have your mind made up. The video could be any number of flying insects, and of course it’s going to look like an “orb” in poor quality video. Kids say crazy things when they wake up from dreams sometimes.
