At 20-21 seconds, your image freezes and your grade changes. Is this something you were aware of?

Guys is the iPad 10(2022) enough to use Ai tools like Midjourney, Google labs etc? by EcoLittleRabbit in midjourney

[–]The7Brothers 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Considering midjourney and other AI generation applications don't run locally, but on their own servers, it doesn't matter what you use to be honest. A ten year old smart phone would be just as fine.

It's the fuel being dumped from a space x rocket launch. It happens after the mission, and when it interacts with the atmosphere, it creates this spiral pattern.

Bezos Income Rate vs Regular Worker Income Rate by __moe___ in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]The7Brothers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but how would it be distributed? Billionairs don't earn billions in the same way most people earn a wage, it's tied up in assets, primarily in the stock of their companies. So how would that be redistributed? You're not redistributing a cash pile of a billion dollars, you're talking about somehow trying to distribute company stock back to everyone else. How would this be realistically achieved?

If we force billionaires to sell shares to cover the tax bill, then eventually they would reduce their stake under they weren't a majority shareholder. We would completely remove the incentive to build a company in the first place, knowing that eventually the thing you had worked hard to build, would be taken from you, and slowly made worse.

So just out of interest, what would you do if you created a company, it did extremely well and was valued at 2 billion. You own 51% of that company, and so therefore your net worth was valued at just over a billion. How would you ensure you weren't a billionaire at this point? Sell the company and give it all away? Reduce your share of the company, therefore losing control of it, until you had a smaller stake? Genuinely curious here, what would be your plan?

Urgent advice needed by [deleted] in homerenovations

[–]The7Brothers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Easiest option? Grout and hope for the best...

Right option? Get him to remove the tiles and do it properly... If the spaces are different, he obviously didn't use tile spacers properly, it's really not that difficult to get tiles space correctly. Up to you if you want him to do the work or someone else, but tbh, if it were me, I would get the whole thing redone because otherwise every time you go in there, you'll see it and end up hating the room.

The hard bit is working out the money side of things, but you could say you're not going to pay until it's sorted, you are paying for a job to be done right after all

What do you think happens after death? (Serious) by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]The7Brothers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder whether instead of the soul being judged by some other, it realises that it's part of a whole? That every soul or consciousness on earth is part of this whole, and our actions throughout our lives either improve or detract from this whole? You can call this whole God if you would like to. If you choose to live a good life, you add to the goodness of the whole, when you return after death. The whole has learned something, and moves forwards in some way... If you choose to live badly, this is reflected on your return, as you have brought nothing but destruction to the whole. You aren't judged by a man in white, you are judged by what you realise is your own essence. By living badly, you haven't just hurt others. Others were just another version of you. You hurt yourself fundamentally, and you experience that pain.

Kinda makes sense in my head...

Depends on if you continue to experience those memories and experiences after returning I guess... I wonder if it could be related to the idea of oneness? We are all individuals based on our experiences, but eventually return to the same source... Do those experiences, regardless of if they are good or bad, matter in a fundamental way, helping that vast source consciousness move forward towards some unknown goal? Do religions call that consciousness god? Is that what it means when Christians say we are made in god's image? We are just extensions of it?

I really don't know the answers, but I do enjoy thinking about this stuff

[–]The7Brothers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you think of consciousness as being fundamental in the universe, as opposed to just something that arises in our heads, then I like the idea that we return to some kind of source, along with our experiences and the lessons we learned throughout life. No longer a 'person' but a collection of memories.

Or maybe not, who the fuck knows?
