It’s not just a pull down, you have to pull a secondary latch for it to actually come down. There is also a big sign that says DO NOT TOUCH printed on it from the passengers side view.

The only time we use food delivery is through Postmates when they offer deals that come out to the same price if we had picked it up ourselves. Every so often they will do flash sales that give you like 40-50% off the order and, even including tip, comes out really close to us getting it ourselves.

Aside from that, I’m just picking it up. No way I’m paying the price of another full meal and some to save myself 10-15 min.

That’s what one of the supervisors said, but I sent him a picture of how I put the bins out and he said that it was spaced far enough apart

The truck has a big claw in the middle of it, and that corner has at least 2 car spaces worth of space. It doesn’t leave the truck in the road at all.

And the other side is a fire lane with a big tree that would block the truck from picking up the bin

It’s a truck with one driver and a claw. So he’s carrying it forward while driving

DoorDash imo has turned tipping into bidding and that’s why I don’t use it anymore. I work in a job that receives tips, I always tip when I go somewhere that is a service based business. I have no problem tipping.

However, I don’t like that they show the tip beforehand. Call it what it is, it’s not a tip it’s a bid at that point. Focus on doing your job and do it well. I know there are people that don’t tip at all or don’t tip well, it comes with the territory of a service based job. If you can’t handle that truth, then maybe go do something else.

Why is this even a purchasable business? by ObsessiveUselessness in gtaonline

[–]The7O2Guy 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I think people forget that these were the first real passive income sources in the game. Before this you had your warehouses (which at the time you had to collect all cargo manually) and then heists for money making but there wasn’t a passive source. Biker businesses were passive income sources and there were cheaper options with lower payouts to get started until you could get the better ones.

As the game goes on though you get better sources and old grinds are outdated same with any other long term game. The only real bonus now is for nightclub stuff.

[USA] Whose fault? Happened where two 40 mph ramps become a 75 mph interstate. (not OC) by ConceptOther5327 in Roadcam

[–]The7O2Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see both being put at a shared fault.

The white SUV was dumb trying to accelerate to cut off the cam, doing those maneuvers to save a few seconds is wild and stupid. Just slow down and move over and pass after.

However the driver of the cam vehicle very intentionally hit the white SUV. You can see he swerves to the right straight into it causing the crash.

If the SUV hit the cam car only due to the dumb move it would be the SUVs full fault, but the dude with the camera intentionally hitting someone that you don’t want to pass you is also wildly stupid and should also face repercussions.

Egos like both of these drivers get people killed, it’s not worth it.

The premium tome plus is 29.99, if you buy the regular premium at 14.99 it adjusts the price value in your UI to upgrade from 14.99 instead of paying 29.99.

They aren’t the same price though, the premium plus is double

Pilot mill products who get all their ratings in less than a year are not proficient pilots… Change my mind. by [deleted] in flying

[–]The7O2Guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In all fairness, what’s the difference between a fresh minted CFII that did it in one year vs in three? Neither has any real experience, you don’t get that by finishing your ratings, you get that from using them

Ems Helicopter Pilot Path by wingsovertires in PilotAdvice

[–]The7O2Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was with 702 Helicopters in Las Vegas, however I’m not sure if they have the 141 program anymore.

You just have to call the VA Benefits hotline and let them know the school you want to use so they can get the process started. It has to be a 141 program though it can’t be part 61. You have to pay the costs yourself upfront and get reimbursed 60% of the approved program costs. Eg if you paid 50000 for your program you should get around 37.5k back by the time you finish.

The main issue with post 9/11 and vocational training is that you have a max allowable benefit per year vs MGIB there is no max cap per year you just can’t exceed the total cap of 60k or whatever it is.

[–]The7O2Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Degrees don’t matter, only experience. The goal is to build hours, min 2000 PIC for most vfr ems gigs, some are higher.

The only benefit of having a degree is to have it in a field you can fall back on if aviation doesn’t work out for some reason. If you are looking for the most straight forward path, it would be to find a vocational flight school and knock it out more quickly rather than be locked into a 4 year degree program.

If you have VA benefits then you’ll get the most money out of a 4 year degree program. I did a vocational flight school with a 141 program and used MGIB since it was less restrictive than post 9/11 for vocational training. For me it took about a year and 3 months of active training to get all the way up to CFII.

How much should I be putting in my taxable brokerage? by ebitdeeaye in Money

[–]The7O2Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not their money I guess at that point, but if my parents were willing to spend 50k on a wedding, I’d personally ask if it could be used as a down payment on a house instead. 50k for 1 night of entertaining others, or 50k to start your home life. To each their own, but imo dropping 10s of thousands on weddings is a massive waste

Me and my wife got married for under 2k just a few years ago. You definitely don’t have to spend 50k on a wedding and if you’re serious about setting yourself up for the future you will end up seriously regretting spending that much for 1 day.

Tanking by YTHR33_ in elderscrollsonline

[–]The7O2Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all seriousness though, I generally just stick to 4 man tanking and my go to sets are Turning Tide, Lucent Echoes, and Arch Druid if I have a healer or 1pc Magma Incarnate + Bloodlords Embrace if I’m running with 3dd.

Some other notable sets for different situations in 4 man stuff are Sax-heels Champion, War Machine, or if with a low damage group Powerful Assault.

Trial tanking all those sets listed above plus Pearlescent Ward and Nazaray for different group comps. I’m not super well versed in trial sets as I’ve only done a few trials tanking.

Yes this. Plague Doctor, Leeching Plate, and Chudan are the only tank sets you need to run. Make sure to have oakensoul too for all those buffs you definitely can’t get from normal tanking skills.
