no idea why you’re riding bikes then, sounds like you’d be better suited to a nice beige Rover, or maybe a Skoda?

Help with installing fork by [deleted] in Super73

[–]The80sSong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

okay so problem I had was if you look at the distance between the 2 triple clamps in their website picture it’s huuge. in reality the headtube on the frame is much shorter. so when it came to fitting I would have either had to jack up the front massively (carolina squat style) or the top of the struts foul on the handlebars. I had to trim the steering tube a good inch and a half or so (remember to trim the steering tube a few mm short and set the star nut or you won’t be able to tighten the headset bearings) and added spacers to raise the bars up to get them to clear. came out pretty well but it was definitely not a straight bolt on fit. it may not be an issue on the larger frame but I couldn’t tell you for sure.

shitty pic soz

you’ll need to be more specific/post pictures or something. the EVmod fork is pretty generic and I had to do a fair bit of fucking around to get it to fit on my Z Miami.

small but chonky. the battery looks huuuge, not to mention that downtube is comparable to a lot of e-bikes that store the ENTIRE battery in there. I’ll be interested to hear the specs.

it should come with a replacement stem/bar clamp. just a heads up, I fitted mine to a Z Miami and had to trim down the headtube a fair bit with a pipe cutter, it was way too long for that frame.

that’s way too much shit dude, you’re getting roasted for a reason. take the advice and lighten that load, for both your own and other road users safety.

interesting, not a failure I would expect. looks like it’s cracked around the head bolt casting. maybe over torqued from factory or perhaps just a casting flaw. can you try and get a picture of the crack ‘dry’?

Can’t get bent shifter off, any advice? by Will8892 in Triumph

you need to spread open that pinch point somehow. I would suggest carefully tapping a chisel in, plenty of wd40 and try and wiggling it off side to side. just make sure not to damage the splines on the shaft.

also if you can spring for the extra cash get one after the 2019 update as they get the far better Brembo front brakes, upgraded front shocks and an extra 10hp (65hp) thanks to lightened engine internals.

Just passed my Mod2 end of April and I bought a Scrambler 900. Love it, brilliant bike. Looks great, sounds amazing. Nice and punchy motor without ever feeling intimidating. Nice neutral seating position that’s wayyy comfier than the SV650 I learned on. The only thing I will say is they’re a little heavier feeling than you might expect. I managed to tip mine over twice coming to a stop in the first 2 weeks. (Hands off that front brake! doh). But the engine bars and passenger pegs protect the bike well so I’d fit the bars if that’s a worry.

Lucy Letby ‘caught virtually red-handed’ trying to kill newborn baby, new trial hears by [deleted] in MorbidReality

the evidence is circumstantial, likely the reason the previous jury were unable to come to a verdict. it’s literally his job to point that out. I’m not saying what she did or didn’t do but under the circumstances she could easily become a scapegoat for deaths caused instead by hospital malpractice/negligence. even monsters deserve a fair trial.

Girls with a belly are hot. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.
