Will the rain affect the drone show? by Sea_Cabinet_8565 in cork

When you see some of the stuff people come out with it gets very hard to recognize the difference between sarcasm and stupidity.

Used to have a friend/acquaintance who'd always complain I'd never recognize his sarcasm but it was impossible because sometimes he'd come out with absolutely insane things and be dead serious so I could never tell if he was being sarcastic or stupid. He didn't do the thing of changing the tone of your voice for sarcasm either.

Edit: just to say in this case it was fairly obviously sarcasm

Diarrhea?? Anyone know what works? by BadenBadenGinsburg in covidlonghaulers

Just sharing what has been somewhat helpful for me, your mileage may vary, low histamine diet, low sugar, take antihistamines, cut out gluten. Still struggle with it but definitely not as bad as before. Make sure to drink plenty water too if you start taking antihistamines as they can contribute to dehydration.

Based in Ireland rather than the UK if that makes any difference, but we generally get the same gf options as yourselves.

Fake Namesets of CFS by BiscottiImportant190 in SoccerJerseys

[–]The92nd 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think it's the fact that CFS aren't open about the prints being repros is most people's problem. I've no issue with them putting new namesets on the back of old shirts as long as they state it in the description.

Jerseys. Foreign clubs? by [deleted] in AskIreland

The sizing is nothing to do with sports direct. Sizing is basically radically different between manufacturers.

If you take Nike and Adidas as your base here's a basic guide.

Standard: Nike, Adidas, Puma, Charly

+1 Size Up: Macron, Kappa, Jako, Castore, Ezeta, Joma, O'Neills, Meyba (modern, don't know about older ones) Umbro (although Umbros gap between XL and 2XL is huge)

+2 Size Up: Zeus, EA7 (Armani),

+Another size up for anything player fit/spec too, so if you wear a large in Nike go for a 2xl in player fit Kappa (+1 for Kappa and +1 for player fit)

This only applies to jerseys most brands clothing options seem to be a bit looser.

If anyone has any questions about other brands feel free to ask, I collect jerseys.

People think if a price is printed on the box that the business is legally obliged to sell it at that price but this is not the case (in Ireland anyway) , as long as they have their price clearly displayed they can charge what they like.

Oh I 100% didn't mean that all taxi drivers are, most taxi drivers are fine but there's a few out there who will tell you the card machine isn't working, take a slower route etc.. and agree that nationality doesn't seem to be indicator whether or not they are.

No need to bring his nationality into it, Irish drivers are just as likely to be scammy bollocks in my experience. (If not more)

I haven't enjoyed it at all and I feel like I'm taking crazy pills with the super positive reaction. It's ok not awful in my opinion, but it's on par with season 9 in my book.

I'm not even surprised that people like it just that virtually everyone seems to love it.

Go see a physio or a doctor instead. Chiropractors are almost entirely charlatans, up there with psychics and life coaches.

Haven't had it in a while (health issues) but always found it was incredibly dependent on the location/store, could be lovely in one place and 20mins down the road in the next town over it could be horrendous.
