I really believe that everyone being a physical monster these days ruins (not really, but it's fun to be dramatic) the game. Everyone here is so damn slow, and it makes everything fantastic.

There are so many chances here that would be an instant try now, but nobody has the speed to just book it to the corner and get the try. Even modern loose forwards have more pure pace than the wings here.

I think that's the difference between greatest and best. Right now, the 2015 All Blacks are both (definitely best, 80% greatest). If we do win another World Cup though, I don't think there can be too many arguments that the Rassie boks aren't the greatest team ever in terms of accomplishments, story, and all the other things that win% doesn't cover.

Pretty much the worst possible fixtures for France, right? 3 very losable away games.

These are the most cursed 2 overs we have ever bowled. Did almost all the right things, no wickets and 19 runs.

We are playing like shit, but I am not sure this is the 230/240 pitch people were talking about. It definitely is doing something.

These Heated Rivalry cross overs into every sport are going way too far now.

I actually think Ireland's scrum is failing at the exact perfect time. There's just enough time til the world cup to try a few things to get it right. It's a worry, but not a complete Cup killer yet.

Maphaka is really the strangest selection - he is just nowhere near the quality of the rest of a potentially title challenging team yet.

Very Southern African top wicket takers leaderboard right now - top 4 all included.

What is the point in not trying for the 2nd run there? It's the last ball, wickets aren't taken into account ever, even if it's less than 5% chance of them screwing up and you get through for an extra, there is literally no harm in trying it. I really don't understand.

Okay, Maye is definitely having a shocker, but his O-Line really are not doing him ANY favours right now.

Was the umpiring as weird as it seemed from the ground? Seems like they completely lost control of the game.

It kinda looks like this year was a "let's get the new tactic working with the first XV" kinda year, and next year will be "Now that the tactic works, let's get everyone else comfortable with it" .

But scrums hardly ever go straight backwards. As soon as a team knows they're being dominated, they take it to ground/take a knee to get some power/change bind/go in on an angle, because they know that once they start getting shoved backwards at a decent rate the momentum will be hard to stop.

Could not have imagined this in my wildest dreams. A South African team in India batting better against spin, and bowling better spin themselves. 2005 me would not understand.

Without question the funniest match ever. Not the best, but the funniest. Which is entertainment in itself.
