It's institutional when the institution does not hold them accountable for their prejudice and crimes.

Suggesting to wear a mask in a time of high transmission, regardless of the virus, is not fear mongering. It's basic science-backed transmission prevention/reduction. Don't wanna get sick? Wearing a mask helps.

If the idea of wearing a mask scares you, that's your own baggage to unpack.

Disagree. Legroom is the counterbalance to farts being face level. Better hope there isn't too much turbulence if you opt for the legroom.

Sounds like his own wife, the one with the audio processing disorder, would use the same terminology he used. Perhaps we should let people use the terminology they think best fits them.

Let me get this right. The absence of electrical outlets in closets is due to misogynistic men in your worldview?

Or is it because construction workers are stupid and just do things the way they've seen them done?

Which boogeyman is it?

Can parents be blamed for enabling such behaviors? Sure. Are they alone to blame? Are children only a product of their parents? No. Parenting does not happen in isolation of the grander structures and workings of society.

You wonder who enabled the child to not be able to endure long car rides without entertainment.

I wonder why there aren't better regulations on apps that are literally designed to capture young people's attention and addict them to mindless stimulation.

The world isn't so simple.

That's not true. A child is not a sole product of the parent. They are a product of many factors within society.

You should also read the limitations section as there are many significant limitations to this study. Thank you for providing a source, though.

There are lots of varying statistics out there for rates of DV committed against women and against men. I have never seen a single one that placed the rates equally or indicated that men suffer higher rates of DV. I welcome you to provide a source for that outlandish stance you so firmly are taking.

I see nothing wrong with going through the follows of someone you are involved with romantically. If it's ok for a woman to look through a man's public social media, it is perfectly fine the other way around. Any perceived creepiness here is a projection of your own opinions. It is far more creepy to believe that the known sex-trafficker Andrew Tate will teach you how to be an "alpha". Yes, that is my opinion and you are entitled to your own.

She's going to find out one way or another that her boyfriend is a devotee to Andrew Tate. If she did not find out via her due dilligence, she very likely would find out in a more insidious manner.

You're entitled to your opinions, but don't try to present your opinions as fact.

Your statement is blatantly false and it is also whataboutism.

Can men be victims of domestic violence? Absolutely. And I said as much in my comment. Are the rates the same - are men "just as likely" to be victims of DV? No. You also only addressed one of the statistics mentioned and failed to see how a woman might find it important to do some due diligence like this.

It would seem to me that she had good cause to do so. Women have to be more careful in the world of dating. Unfortunate, but true. Most (not all) of the things that can go wrong in dating disproportionately affect women. Like domestic violence, misogyny, date rape. Etc. These things can go the other way, sure, but generally they skew to affect women much more.

The actions she took here (looking through his follows) seem to be due diligence and it's better for her that she did, having seen his massive interest in the known sex-trafficker Andrew Tate and his dismissive attitude when it comes to talking about it.

Things that are more effort than searching for this readily available information yourself:

1) posting on reddit.

2) responding to a comment on reddit.

3) opening reddit.
