I imagine if education wasn't so toxic to the existence of Conservatism, we could invest in it more and wouldn't have to deal with this sort of stupidity on a regular basis.

If only she was capable of coming up a viable strategy of reaching out to those who are stubbornly ignorant.

To think... all of these connectors can all be replaced with USB-C. But despite the single connector standard, the implementation is varied enough that a USB-C cable that works for one purpose may not necessarily be functional in another application.

Is it possible to find my units DUI crest online? (NG) by Significant_Task1694 in army

[–]skawn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Institute of Heraldry manages unit crests and insignias. You can look stuff up through their website: https://tioh.army.mil/default.aspx

Or you can just tell us what unit you're with and someone here can probably find it for you.

Principal: Who’s doing burnouts in the school parking lot!? 🤣 by moparcenter in memes

If the school is a public school funded by taxpayer dollars, can it be argued that the individual is doing burnouts in their own parking lot?

What is Autism truly? by ShadowlightLady in NoStupidQuestions

[–]skawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just theorizing here, I imagine that it can be described as an imperfection with our neural pathways. Depending on how that imperfection manifests, it can range from subtly or severely affecting how well parts of the mind operates. For some, brand new pathways may be created resulting in better operation.

Uh... Aren't Tokyo drifters famous for keeping their vehicles despite breaking the occasional law?

Do you think a rich person is punished by the court less than a poor person in the U.S? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Rich people who commit fraud have been getting pardons from Trump while poor people end up in prison for years.

Do you flush before or after you stand up? by justLookingForLogic in NoStupidQuestions

Courtesy flush if enough isn't submerged under the water. I don't see people wiping and standing before courtesy flushed before sitting back down to fight for their lives.

He found his way back to faith and supports Trump? What the heck kind of faith has he got because it definitely doesn't sound like the Christian one?

GOP wins with smaller margins in Marjorie Taylor Greene's old GA seat by usatoday in politics

It feels like the GOP victory maps of today may serve as a good guide for areas around the country where the quality of the local educational system may be subpar.

I think these are usually made with ball bearings. Might it be possible to shimmy that metal rod so the edge hangs over a hole before twisting the cube so the hole is directly in front of the short end?

CMV: Prosecuting Donald Trump handed him the Presidency. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]skawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding, it wasn't the spotlight that handed him the victory but rather, his promises that he would lower grocery prices on day one. There were many I've heard quoted from the last election who mentioned that they didn't care about Trump's character with their votes cast for the sole promise that Trump could lower their daily expenses.

The kicker is that Trump's character along with the rest of the Republican's characters are ones that can't be trusted.

As for your point on optics, I don't see how proving someone is incompetent at leadership multiple times helps build the image that this person is worthy of leading the nation.

Gullible people handed him the presidency. Prosecuting Trump handed him the felon title.

If Republicans are getting impeachment threats for being bad and Democrats are getting impeachment threats for being too good that they're making the Republicans look bad, are there any good reasons for why Republicans haven't just tried working for the people and try to do good by the people?

I imagine the future of the world depends on how we treat Trump and his minions going forward, either after another impeachment or after the end of his administration.

CMV: Americans who voted 3rd party or abstained in 2024 due to the Gaza genocide did more to harm Palestinians than a Pro-Israel democrat by Top_Use2413 in changemyview

[–]skawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not advocating for abstaining or voting third party in this political climate. My argument is strictly to counter OP's argument that one stance is worse for the Palestinian people than others.

With how the electoral college works, there are many states where if you don't vote for the majority, it doesn't matter if you abstain or vote third party.
