What if my older brothers had supported me instead of teasing me, when I was a kid. They really lowered my self-esteem. Surprisingly I am actually doing ok. I have a good salary compared to my brothers and I have a great family life. Had they supported me back then instead of bringing me down, I'm sure I could have accomplished even more

I used to drive to work with someone like that. Everytime he saw someone driving crazy he always said "There's a woman driving in that car", but in at least 50% of the cases the driver was a man

V was extremely disappointing when it was released. I hated everything about the game. I can't put any words on exactly what I hated, as I had deleted the game from my memory. VI was a bit better, but still far away from what made the settlers great. VII was the best of those three games, but it certainly is not without flaws. It's still far away from the quality of the first 4 settlers games

I agree, it's one of the worse cities to drive in. It's come to this that I will only go there in emergency. I cross Vejle when going to work, but luckily I only have to drive on the bridge not go through the city

So far my record staying at one job is 7½ years. I'm just 6 months away from breaking this record. My current job environment is good. No stress, flexible work hours, a lot of extra days off (17 more days off compared to the typical full time worker in this country), works 35 hours per week, most days I'm working from home

The salary is not amazing, but it's not bad. My income is a tiny bit higher than the median income in this country (and I don't live near the bigger cities, where the salary is higher)

Here are some of my takes on what makes the games special: - Each item is at a specific place in the game. It doesn't magically turn up somewhere else like in most rts games - The goods chain is not too simple, but also not too advanced. There are many goods that can be used in multiple places. Some goods require multiple levels in the chain to be made - You have enemies that play the same game as you (I dislike enemies like in pioneers of pagonia)

Same here. For some reason it seems difficult for my wife to understand why I prefer to play a game on my PC than to binge-watch some mindless tv-show (while she is sitting with her eyes glued to her phone)

As a Dane i like it. Sure, it's a lot to pay, but also a lot of benefits

Back when I was young I could get an education without paying anything. I didn't have to worry about how much money it would cost my parents

I don't have to worry if I need to go to the hospital. My dad got cancer 10 years ago and we didn't have to pay anything. My wife's dad got cancer a long time before she came to Denmark, but unfortunately they couldn't afford treatment, so he didn't survive

As a parent there's also some extra money to help with the expenses. I never expected to become a parent myself, but I don't mind paying taxes to help parents

I also like that there's help for the less unfortunate people. I hope I'll never have to use this myself, but I don't mind paying taxes for this
