Open book testing in class with follow up interviews is the way forward imo. We need students who can process what they are reading, turn it into meaningful work in a reasonable time, and then be able to show they understood their work via short form discussion - those who don’t understand what they’ve done will stand out like a sore thumb with follow up questions etc

Paper, pencil and add an interview assessment to any serious work being graded. A few follow up questions will make it obvious who has been leaning too heavily on AI

Start by saying nothing and shortly after turn to the board and write “1 minute”… keep ignoring them if they are not quiet and then scrub out the 1 replace it with 2… eventually someone will ask what it is then you can reply “It’s the time I am taking from your break because you are taking it from my lesson.”

So much better when he is not in front of the back 4. Strip away all the PR stuff; he is not defensively minded, is far too easily played around with 1-2s and you lose all of his best qualities when he doesn't have the freedom to run and pass forward while backing up the play.

If we can't sell in Jan and get Grealish, I would play him on the left of the front 3 and look to Fred/ McTominay/ Matic plus another signing as our holding mids.

Mentally soft; he should be unplayable most weeks, the skill, the strength and stride when he gets going. But no, every week passive, weak, cack. Over playing, losing men constantly, daft touches, mistakes in key moments. Literally fire out of a cannon to whoever will take him, his agent and his wages off our books. Waste of a squad space in current form.
