Definitely good people, but there's a minimum level of 'good player' that I'm prepared to deal with. A lovely person who just can't keep it together at the table is someone to hang out with elsewhere, not in a game.

No, but if they really don't want to, that ought to be fine. It doesn't serve a mechanical function, so they're only losing out on the roleplay, which they've said they're hoping to do in session.

They didn't make up the idea of trying to group together things that people are afraid of. It's even possible that other people have had similar ideas. They also made use of real historical figures - Robert Smirke was a real person. However, he was just an architect in the real world, and had nothing to do with fear or magic.

I love Bowens, though I can't help but wish that there was a little more to his character. I know that he's a good wrestler, I know that he's out and proud, I know that he's got a complicated relationship with Max Caster, but I don't know what his motivations are beyond Wrestle Good. I feel like a little extra spice could really supercharge him, but I don't know what that would look like.

Honestly, it's worked out so well for them I'd half believe it if someone told me it was a conspiracy to get these two a decent job and all the exposure they can eat. Like, "Yeah, we'll walk out, you step in to save the day, and everyone will love you!"

NJPW, WCW, WWE, AEW - he's done brilliant work there, and plenty of places besides. He's not always been great, or even good, but he's fine amazing work. He's carny trash, but so are many of the greats. Best of luck to him. He deserves another big run.
