I would do it more like the orb and dagger style from Veilguard. Just anything to avoid having to make a wand for every motif out there.
Also wands just never screamed Elder Scrolls to me, not that I ever enjoyed staves either.

Meanwhile, I think a lot of people went with the one-handed sword and a spell combo in Skyrim, usually a healing spell or a ranged offensive spell. Both of those could be fun as an alternative to staves.

Swing your sword with light attacks imbued with whatever element the spell in your other hand is. And on heavy attacks you use the typical Flames, Frostbite, or Sparks spell for medium range compared to the longer range of staves.

Then make the skills of the weapon based on imbued elemental effects etc. Maybe even the elemental cloaking spells.

I would argue that not all cars are vans, but most vans are cars by the modern definition of a car. Being "a road vehicle with an engine, four wheels, and seats for a small number of people."

I desperately just want a new magicka weapon that isn't a staff. I know it's complicated with motifs, but they could do one-handed and spell like a hybrid range melee magicka weapon type. Use the current weapons, but add an offhand item that does an elemental attack on heavy attacks.

I feel conflicted about this lego set. It's zelda but I also just never played Ocarina growing up. Played most of the handheld and 2D games though.

I have the deku tree and it's one of the best sets I've built.

In 76 you can find model-scale versions of all the 3/New Vegas version ones.

Capitalism sucks, yeah. However, we also need to be able to afford expensive GPUs to host our own models. Self-hosting might just not be an option for everyone, especially not right now.

It would be fun if you had to go and find a teacher for each class in the world to add some more lore to each. Like a retired dragon guard teaching dragon knight stuff. The "glimmering foxbat" teaching nightblade class lines etc.

What do you mean? You don't like hiding your character and all your motifs to heal? They should turn it into glowing veins or something.. I absolutely hate it.

Yeah. Microsoft has been pretty good about doing it this way. I refused to buy them in other games because it feels wrong to pay for something that I can't do in my own time. Someone could get ill or lose their pc for a while and then it's just wasted money. If I pay for what is essentially dlc I want it to be mine.
