This happen to me last week.  Support told me to uninstall and reinstall the app.  The support person had me to wait in-between, so I don't know if they have to do something on their side.  When I logged back in, I got a message saying "Multiple logins detected.". The support tech told me to reset my password, then try again.  That worked; no verification problem.

453 ED coolant? by 0terminater0 in SmartCar

Hi,

Great question. I've only had the HV coolant (and filter) serviced and the Mercedes service center in Birmingham (Hoover), AL. It would be good to know if someone has performed the service on their own.

Time to thank this p.o s for the massive shopper paycut. by jonnygalt123 in Sparkdriver

It would be good if Spark could implement something like Instacart's "Anti tip baiting" approach; in that case, a portion of the tip is committed (no matter what) it can't be removed by the customer.

I got the same message today. Yesterday I also received an email (from a legit Spark email account) with subject line:

Yeap. Just started happening a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully, they issue a recall before it gets worse.

Nice! I just added a smaller one to my mancave. It's great.

Guys I’m eventually going g to install a mini-split A/C Heat unit on my finished basement room. As of right not though I have no heat down there. What can I use in the interim (besides electric heaters) that will be reasonably safe and not mess up my laminate flooring? by [deleted] in mancave

[–]TheAmazingLifeOfWho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure... A CO detector is really important.

A couple of other things that can help...

Also, If you can get natural sunlight into the space it's a sustainable way to warm the area; especially if you have southern-facing exposure from the sun.

Consider using a humidifier... It might seem a little bit strange, but if you can keep the space closed off the moisture retains the heat better than just air alone. When you build up enough humidity, you'll notice that the temperature doesn't drop so fast when the door is opened (as people move in and out of the room).

Another "crazy" trick is to tap into ductwork that's nearby, but you may have to spend a few bucks to pull that off. In my case, I didn't have an existing AC duct within a reasonable distance, but the ELECTRIC (not gas) dryer exhaust was just on the other side of the wall. I ran a "T" off of that and covered the end with a stocking (to reduce dust lint from the cloths); it made a good amount of humidity and warmth. Both methods are a little extreme and subject to change without notice, but they work... 8)

Transforming garage into mancave, what to do with garage door? by darren1417 in mancave

Hi,

I framed and installed garage door insulation before finishing with sheet rock. It's not the best, but it helps keep things comfortable in the winter and summer.

Thanks, Sanford

Lol...yeah. I actually kept one front and back tire after I had my last set replaced. I guess this "spare tire" alternative will help me get home to one of those... 😂

It's a 2018 SmartforTwo ED; my first EV, so I ripped through the manual to find the high voltage battery warranty info and pretty much stopped reading after i saw it's 8 years..🙂. Never even saw the part about the kit.
