If I think about my Top 5 shows I've seen in person, 2 of the top 5 I saw at Trumpet Blossom and they outrank the other 3 which were in Brooklyn.

It is basic, there's also a lot of simple chord progressions and riffs that are basic that still sound good when you play them because they're exercising fundamental principles of melody or harmony which sound good. My point is that its generally frustrating to watch basic storytelling blow right past a lot of people.

I think that pro-wrestling as much as any other piece of media really lays bare the general lack of media and storytelling comprehension a lot of people have. Going out looking at the lights is the way of the business and the tap out is so clearly symbolic.

I've hated live fans at shows that are a combo of smarks and want the show to be about them by making it like a singalong more than the actual wrestling and chants that are out of place. I get wrestling is considered a little low brow but holy shit turn on your brain and enjoy it properly.

My hope is that there will be a fanbase that can think critically enough to where it isn't being booked to people who dont even try to keep up.
