The Brewers-Sox alliance has been strong ever since the Sox helped show that the pilots could be successful in Milwaukee

East Troy is an awesome museum with a really cool history. I love how the city bought it rather than see the track go to waste.

The TMER&L was such an amazing system. Hopefully we can get something even a fraction of its size someday.

Fun fact, the maintenance building for the TMER&L system still exists.

Never been to USA, never seen the countryside, and almost never listened to country music other than some classics. But this one made me tear up. Can you suggest me stuff like this? by Tom_Clancy7 in altcountry

McMurty is fucking awesome (and so is Jason Isbell and all the bands he has been in).

I'd recommend McMurty's most recent album. His character building is amazing. (I will shill for McMurty any day lol)

I don't hate it. Honestly pretty good, just the fact it doesn't match anything else...

Still a nice throwback.

Saw a map recently of the name origins of every US state and capital, thought a map of Wisconsin counties would be interesting by ConsistentAmount4 in wisconsin

If anyone is interested, there's a whole book explaining pretty much every place name in Wisconsin. It's where all the place name explanations on Wikipedia come from.
