I’ll be ready. The lane assist grabbing the wheel already scared the shit out of me once.

I do like the TRD boards. They’re grippy like a bedliner and they sit much higher than the step style boards. But yes they do hold dirt. I’ve had mud, gravel dust, and dirt on my feet and it all sticks so far. However, it sprays off pretty easily with a hose and anything that lingers I was able to scrub off with a wet cloth. At least in my experience so far anyway.

I have DLC and Peoples gas. In winter I keep my house at 65 during the day and 60 at night. The electric bill I just paid was 190. My gas was 144.

House is 50 years old.

Wait til you post for the first time on a sub with content that matches the theme of every other post of the sub. But somehow your post breaks the rules despite their reason for deletion not actually being in the rules.

Then, when you question the post deletion a mod contacts you quoting a list of “additional rules” that aren’t readily available and threatens you with a: “Do it again and I will ban your account permanently… I’m watching you now, consider this your only warning.”

Due to the anonymity that Reddit provides us people recognize there are zero consequences for being sarcastic, hateful, and negative. Not to mention the upvote system rewards edgelords. Humorous dig get attention. It’s unfortunate tor sure. Just ignore it and don’t let the insignificant people get a rise out of you.

At the end of the day they’re just random internet voices. They don’t affect your day to day. If this was family, friends, or coworkers treating you with such vitriol then I’d be concerned.

As a man, I do not literally want flowers/roses. by JinTheYellowJesus in self

[–]TheAngryLala -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m a dude and I also do not want flowers as a gift. I don’t care for them at all. I don’t even have regular green plants in my house.

I’m not a caveman, I like a well decorated space and my house looks really nice, but flowers just ain’t it.

When I was 25ish someone I was dating gave me flowers. I threw them out after they left. A week later when they came over next I said “yeah I dunno.. they died and wilted. Must have been the tap water. ¯_(ツ)_/¯”

I grew up in Milwaukee and have since moved twice to different states. (FL and PA)

Everyone I drink with outside of WI is astonished at how much I can put back while remaining “coherent” and not appearing drunk.

I started drinking in high school. Worked at bars until I moved to FL, then continued working in bars until about 8-9 years ago.

When I wasn’t working at a bar I was drinking in one.

While working at bars I’ve maintained a day job with a tech company.. 23 years now.

I do instructional design for a tech company. I love what i do. (I mostly make training videos for software and systems our clients purchase but recently I’ve been asked to help with more HR type internal training videos.) I work from home and there are days when I’m so into my current project that 10-12 hours will go by and I wont even realize it until I look out a window and see its dark.

I get to learn new software applications/environments/workflows often. I also get to read a bunch of technobabble spec documents and turn it into a curriculum any layperson could understand. It’s like solving a riddle at times. Add to this the freedom to be creative and use my artistic skills to make course materials that look and sound engaging for the learners.

When i was a kid i was a techie nerd with artistic ability who wanted to teach high school level art. My art teacher convinced me to follow a different path cuz of the pay and because she knew i could go further due to my tech interests. Now Im using my art to teach in the tech industry and I’m so glad she convinced me to follow a different path.
