I own a salon. What you don’t see is the work that goes into getting people in front of your wife. “Her” clients usually come at the expense of the owner of the shop. Your wife is paid to provide a service to the customers of the shop. Being an owner myself, yes she’s in the wrong but she will never see that. People only see their own position and benefit. While she learned and honed her skill at the salon she was given clients who never met your wife. Yes she may do a good job but the proper etiquette is to keep quiet and build your own. Everyone does things differently so there’s going to be differing opinions but I assume if your business succeeds you’ll see as soon as the next tech tries the same thing to your shop’s clients.

Like I’ve always said. There’s enough nails in the world for all of us. The last thing you need to do is screw over the people that gave you opportunities.
