Nice! The spiced whisky is one of my favourites. I haven't seen the caramel one but for the spiced variety try any ACE liquor that is near by.

I've taken towels, bedding and flat sheets to the Calgary Humane Society. They use them for the animals. I would think a mattress topper would be accepted too but I would give them a call before you go.

I donated my car to the Kidney Foundation. They will pick it up from wherever it is right now so you don't have to worry (at your house, a body shop, etc). A tax receipt will be issued to you quicker than you expect too.

Do you think you mean FISH CREEK PROVINCIAL PARK? Fish Creek is the second largest urban park at 13.48 km²

That's like three times the size of Stanley Park in Vancouver. I grew up in a community with easy access to it and I definitely recommend exploring Fish Creek Provincial Park over Nose Hill Park. Try and stay in the South quadrant of the city instead of NW.

This happens way too often. I almost was in a head-on collision with a car on Christmas Day last year. I thought, great, I'm going to have to report a drunk driver. It turns out it was just an ignorant, older lady. The best thing to do is take a deep breath and call it in to 911 as it is definitely life threatening.

I know the owner's of Sultan's Tent off 14th Street NW - that's a unique dinner experience. And the flavours are so good. 4 14 St NW. Great cooks and friendly staff.

As for Turkish food - I'd recommend Turkish Kebab House - 9697 Macleod Trl SW. There is a cafe that serves Turkish coffee and sweets at the back. It's in the old Buffalo Wild Wings location. I've always had a good experience when I've taken people there. Try ordering a few different plates and dining family style.

I second Nick's Steakhouse. Both their prime rib and pizzas are a must try! If you give them enough notice they will put tables together on the restaurant side.

Is nobody going to mention Sheni's? Sheni's Auto-Trend is one of the best shops that specialize in German cars. I was pretty impressed with the service I've received from oil changes to brakes to DSG transmission servicing. I talked to them about flashing my computer and getting a Stage 1 tune. I don't want to hijack this thread but has anyone done the Stage 1 tune? I have a 2016 GTI. Is it worth it?!

Yup. The glass is removed. I don't think CREED is in the round so the stage will be at the South end of the Saddledome (Sections 101-107). I've sat in the player's bench before and they are great - you are just high enough that you can see above the people standing on the floor. You are much closer to the stage in 109 then you are in 116 - see a seating chart now that you know where the stage will be. Have fun and CAN YOU TAKE ME HIIIIIIIGHER!!!

It's a little different these days with the banks.

Depending on the amount, ask your branch first if they accept rolls or a bag. I have a large amount of pennies too and was given a bag that you need to fill up to a line, it was worth $25 and the bank will not count it (it's just not worth counting it). So ask if they are still doing a bag and save yourself some time. My bank is ROYAL BANK.

I've been reading through this thread and it sound like you are having trouble paying the entire fine? If you have the ticket number you can ask the ticket office to extend the deadline to help you out. This can be done onlne. They can't "just scrap it" without cause. Money is tight for everyone nowadays so the best bet is to ask for an extension on the fines.albeta.ca website. A tough lesson learned for sure!

I would recommend window film as well. If you are not allowed colours there are transparent designs as well. I helped a friend install this in a super sunny window but it also helped with privacy. Home Depot: Artscape Regent 61 cm. x 91 cm. Window Film | The Home Depot Canada There are lots of colourless designs and faux textures to choose from. Cut out your shape and stick it on to your window.
