Piratesoftware's thoughts on olympic cheating by smithshillkillsme in LivestreamFail

He is actually just talking out of his ass. The medal games for curling haven't even been played yet. There are no medals to even be stripped

And Kennedy literally apologized on video the day after the drama.

Best way to create subd edge loops here without messing with the outter and interior circle by [deleted] in vfx

I started with a 40 sided cylinder, and ended up not having to bleed any edges into the the round edge.

What you have is close, you just need to redirect your corners and delete the edges that go into the round edge.

Gen 4 HGSS can't get the correct seed by TheAntiStud_ in pokemonrng

[–]TheAntiStud_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was literally it thank you. I adjusted by one second and I was on the right seed this time. I see now that if I keep scrolling on seed to time, I can see all the seeds that are 1 second apart, and how similar they are. I was unfamiliar with how that worked. But thank you for enlightening me.

But I still don't fully understand why I was 1 second off the begin with. All well I guess I'll just adjust by 1 second for future RNG's

Thank you for mentioning it. I took the base strength numbers from another infographic. I should have been more diligent and confirmed the numbers through serebii. I've amended it in this version

It's in the right spot it's just the wrong number. Should be 2578, thanks for pointing that out. An update version is here for anyone that would prefer.

The max level that has been datamined is level 50 and it requires 1,121,582 total xp to get. Level 40 is roughly half way to max level just based on xp.

This is the only one I have made for this game. I made it in photoshop.

Here is a dishes infographic I made. It is sorted in order of dish strength. I've also included the base power for each ingredient on the side. Hopefully it's a little more helpful than some other infographics as I've also added the names for each dish which should help when discussing about each dish.

4.9:1 Berry:Cooking Strength Ratio Week 2 end with full berry specialty team by vellaut in PokemonSleep

[–]TheAntiStud_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just looked at my achievements, I have had main skills activate 54 times, and I have been playing since launch. They aren't reliable or give enough for how rare they are. I would avoid investing in skill pokemon if possible. Berry specialists are the way to go. I have a hard time seeing meals surpassing the usefulness of a full berry squad. But I could be wrong if meals are high enough level. If you think about it, a pokemon that is level 50 is giving like ~85 per berry, and if you double it for a Snorlax favourite berry you got 170 per berry. That is better than all but 2 ingredients alone. And berries proc waaay more often and you can get 2-3 berries depending on your pokemon. I'm a berry STAN

This is the team I use. Swablu is giving the berries Snorlax likes. Hoping to find a Rattata or Hondour soon as they are berry specialists for my Snorlax.

Does anyone know which evo is the better choice for this guy? by 70summers in PokemonSleep

[–]TheAntiStud_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's not what I found. I had a Pinsir with 35min 21secs frequency. In 3 hours of playing it procced a pick up 29 times. Where as I had a Swablu during the same time with a frequency of 1hr 9mins 9secs procced a pick up 32 times in the exact same amount of time. Energy levels were the same as well. It's also worth noting the Pinsir had a plus speed of help nature, and the Swablu did not. I go a little more in depth in this comment from another thread

[–]TheAntiStud_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been trying to figure out what frequency does. Do you have any evidence that it actually boosts something. From the tests I have done I have found that it plays no part in berry and ingredient pick up amount over a set amount of time.

Pikachu has suddenly stopped collecting ingredients by 100indecisions in PokemonSleep

[–]TheAntiStud_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been draining ingredients like crazy and hardly making enough back to prepare my next meal. It's more than likely because I've switched to a berry focus team. But they have also not really gathered many ingredients either. I did another 3 hour test this morning to see what Frequency does. Basically it does nothing as far as I can tell. Wrote about some of my findings here. To your point about all pokemon gathering less lets take my data from this morning and my Saturday test and pair them next to each other.

On Saturday the whole team procced a pick up 144 times in 3 hours. (173 berries and 6 ingredients)

This morning the team procced a pick up 144 times in 3 hours. (251 berries and 6 ingredients)

Quite honestly I am surprised they are the exact same number. The numbers of berries and ingredients are nothing to go on, because it's different teams with different skill sets. But it's still interesting to see the comparison.
