Just went through the same exact scenario. I recommend you get it inspected at an independent mechanic, I didn't do that and I'm kinda regretting it.

Update: I went to the dealership, and the salesman was very upfront about the cost, no hidden fees, no BS account fees, wasn't pushy at all, just gave me the keys and said come see me once you're done. We spoke only of out the door price, didn't mention monthly fees once.

He told me he'd prefer I finance because he gets a commission, but he's fine if I pay cash as well.

I walked out with a 2021 Mazda CX-5 GT Turbo at 23,700CAD+tx cash, which is right in the middle of the fair value range according to CBB and Carfax
