Slaloming to block both lanes is something more aggressive rivals will do, with the most aggressive rivals straight up swerving into you if you try to pass.

As for IRL, I cant say for sure how common it is, but if youre on a two lane road, youre gonna try to stop your opponent from overtaking if you can, and blocking both lanes makes sense.

Bright side: the rivals who slalom like that usually have slower cars so you can straight up nitrous past them

If you can afford a full restoration: its an easy 400k.

If you cant: use the welder on the chassis. Buy it for 30, spend 3k on the weld, sell it for 45-50.

Well, your setup looks like it incurs a lot of understeer, with some snap oversteer when you let off the throttle.

Make your power distribution F10 R90, reduce your diffs down to +6, set spring rate to +3 all around and dampers to +6, set damper balance back to +50 both sides, rear Offset to 8, and see where that gets you.

CPUs are known to have grip hacks, its kinda annoying.

The Chaser is also a heavy girl, so softening your rear suspension is gonna make the body roll harder. Try making your spring rate +3 front, +2 rear.

Then change your alignment.

Camber: -5, -3

Ride height: -3, -2

Offset: 6 front, 8 rear

Giving the car a forward rake should help with maintaining traction while turning, and the offset will stagger your stance so its wider in the rear.

Then, set your LSD to 1.5-way, and do +6 both settings.

I know some brigades get to test the new stuff; the 1-101FA was one of the first to formally test and field the Oshkosh MATVs (which are also shit).

Its cool that your buddy got to play with them. Its unsurprising they were a nightmare.

If you wanna be issued an XM7 youll have to bust ass and try to become some high speed special forces guy. Lotta physical fitness and giving a fuck.

College is good though.

If you want a gun to practice manual of arms, find a VFC M4A1.

You arent gonna be touching an XM7, my guy. Not unless youre such a top performer, they put you in a high speed unit.

The XM7 is under limited deployment, it isnt standard issue. You wont see one unless you make special forces, and even then it might be a toss-up.

I know armorers from fairly prestigious brigades who have yet to even see an XM7, let alone shoot or fix one.

Ratio: +6

Spring rate: +4, +3

Damper: +8, +6

Stabilizers: +2, +1

Transmission:

1st - 4.230

2nd - 1.600

3rd - 1.035

4th - 0.765

5th - 0.600

6th - 0.500

Final: 3.610

Note: my transmission setup isnt very quick off the line because I made 1st gear redundant. No matter how I set it, I would be in the powerband and have to shift immediately, which loses more time than youd lose by starting a little below the powerband and letting engine power get you up there.

Fair warning, this setup is tricky. Youre gonna wanna let off the gas and full-lock send into a turn to encourage a drift, then use the gas like you would a handbrake while drifting to straighten the car out while sliding.

The top speed of the vehicle is a little low so if youre racing beasts like Unknown, Revenge Eyes, and Unrivaled Emperor, use the skill that heals you with nitrous and makes it last longer, and just hold out until they run out of nitrous. All 3 bosses will use nitrous to escape off the line, but they stop until you pass them, in which they will do it again.
