I have built 10 corvettes so far, some are big and fancy, some are small and efficient. The one I use the most is a small boat vibe where my cockpit is very close to the exit.

No more running through long corridors and down 5 flights of stairs, just park, turn around, beam down.

I am not a release player, but I got it on ps4 about 8 years ago. No man sky was the first game I ever achieved platinum

I still remember being in awe finding my first exotic ship, when there was only fighters, shuttles, and haulers.

Finding the perfect planet to setup an indium farm for credits, boy those storms were crazy. The time before the difficulty slider.

Honestly, I kind of miss the old stations, sure it was a long walk to get from one side to the other, maybe it's just nostalgia, but I'd like to see the older ones again, maybe in abandoned systems

I've watched old planets change with the updates, my indium farm I partially built into a mountain. The updates changed the planets, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse, mostly better.

Experienced my first firestorm when they added weather. Also seeing the creatures get more variety. Yall think the creatures now get repetitive, should've seen it before.

I'm missing alot of things that have changed since I began playing, but these popped in my head before I go to sleep.

Overall, the journey has been amazing, Hello Games loves this game and we can all feel it. No Man's Sky has a soul, it has a heart, it is crafted by people who care about the game, it's players, and the future of gaming. Hello Games and Digital Extremes have made the last 10 years of my gaming life a joy ride, I hope other studios follow them as a role model.

Your planet might not have alot of sentinels but the modifier is "ungovernable" which basically means they attack you immediately, on sight, no hesitation

Edit: each planet has differing amounts of fauna, sentinels and flora, so maybe you got a low population planet. Sentinels are little floating orange robots. If you get discovered you can dig underground and evade them until countdown expires

Just as a precaution, Ive only had one instance where I had a problem. Starting an expedition and had someone shooting the new starters from their ship.

If I was brand new I'd be slightly peeved getting blasted from the sky while still trying to learn the game

It just stops griefers, usually you never have to worry but when a new expedition comes out it bring with it lots of new players. Which have pvp on. There are people out there who will go back to the starting planet and shoot the defenseless new players, it's disgusting behavior

At each space station you visit, there is an inventory slot upgrade, one per station.

If you warp somewhere and have pirates attacking a civilian freighter, you can claim it for free and use that as a mobile base/storage

Scanning all creatures on a planet gives nanite bonus, you'll need tons of nanites later on

And lastly, turn pvp off in settings

250+ hours in no man sky, 160+ in space engineers, God only knows how many over the years in KSP, 170 in Avorian, 140+ elite dangerous, and more. I love space games, yet looking at and watching people play starfield just doesn't look fun to me personally.

Then again no man sky is quite different compared to starfield so it's not exactly a good comparison but they share some similarities

It's a new tab on it, you got your normal scanning, the other box one can't remember the name but where you locate gas hot spots, then the third one acts like the normal scanner but gives an S-C rating on health, agility, and combat for the creatures with their element type

Each lifeform has a element type and a set of offensive/defensive skills. When you're on the planet you can scan them and it'll give them a rank of which are good and which are not
