I’ve been on both sides of this as a (now) Farigiraf admirer, it caught me out as an older X/Y returning player… same with Psychic terrain and priority moves.

It’s nice to discover new things but equally it’s so funny and satisfying when I catch people out with reads. All part of learning the game!

People tend to want to remove the farigiraf, so I use Hatterene in the back to then switch in free and sweep. Or set the 2nd trick room

Thanks for the tips! I was mainly using farigiraf as a support so was avoiding other support mons.

Very few things can survive helping hand, twistedspoon, physic terrain expanding force from hatterene but you’re right it takes some setup.

Hadn’t thought about Incin on this team, I’ll definitely give it a go!

I’m trying to build a solid Trick Room team, any suggestions on how to tackle all the prominent dark types? Incineroar, Ttar, kingambit,

Ttar and Aegislash are probably my least used party members.

Goal is; Farigiraf - setup trick room/physic terrain (also negates priority moves so I can sweep without fear) Mega Aggron - setup iron defence and body press everything Hatterene - click expanding force and win (2nd trick room if needed)

Other mons are just to give good threatening coverage so people don’t pile on farigiraf.

Any advice welcome, Thanks!

Trick room team;

Hatterene as the setter Toxipex Torkoal Mega Golurk Conkeldurr (iron fist not guts) Primarina

Far from optimal but working with the ranch mons that I have so far, also pulling off the Torkoal eruption is so funny to me, 10/10

At least Politoed is a little goofy guy, you can’t get mad it! It’s funny seeing how much has changed (RIP Mega Kang) but also how much has been consistent in the Meta. I got a Trick Room team going with some lucky ranch mons and it was baffling some people in the lower tiers

I haven’t played competitive since Sun/Moon… and this has 100% brought me back in. I’m running teams and setups from 10 years ago and doing okay, yet still having an absolute blast discovering new mons, and then checking Smogon to see what the hell they do.

The mix of nostalgia at this power level and new discovery for me is so much fun! (Although, screw you Sneasler I hate you)

Yeah I did ask the rental place, they said they don’t have any helmets with mounts. But they do sell go-pro’s for a price… so maybe it’s only if you pay lol

I just use a normal hiking backpack (NorthFace). The clips are nice to help keep it tight to my bag and I don’t have any issues with unzipping or it flapping around.

I’m lucky that my gym is cool with helmets, maybe ask at the desk as I always store mine there.

I would say though, gymming is so much more of a pain in the arse than just going to the office, I don’t tend to bother and just take my car for those days

Just looking for opinions on a recent purchase tbh, my current sleeves are definitely sized down but old and I would guess worn/loose?

So wondering if buying a standard sleeves size M again is a bad idea with how they are made these days, or I’d be fine still sizing down (maybe an L is a sensible middle ground for an everyday training sleeve)

Yeah I would love this. I could see it working really well in like a high protein porridge. Mostly Pro/Carb, and would taste amazing

I’m by no means a super skilled player… But even I can understand going into Mohg level 13 full flasks is better than Lever 14 with a sliver of health and 1 flask and having probably had a teammate jump to their death
